   Only positive things to say about Martin his knowledge is vast when it comes to German cars. Always helped me in any situation whether I’ve been broke down at the side of the road or come in for a repair to the shop. I’m in the motor trade myself and believe me when I tell you it’s the right people around you what make certain businesses successful or not. You can go to other garages and they can play the guessing when ultimately taking time and money mis diagnosing etc or you can just cut the riff raff and go to someone with knowledge such as Martin, No guessing games no it could be this or that it’s just straight it answers. Thank you for the countless times you’ve pulled me out of the ‘sh’t pal. All the best

   Rang back quickly after they missed my initial call. Found the fault and fixed within a couple of hours at a fraction of the cost and time others had quoted me. Came out to talk us through all the issues and reports so we know what was wrong and needed doing. Be coming back here in future if anything else needs doing

   If Carlsberg did Motor repair garages then it would be Bolton Motor Works. Absolutely the best around by a mile. Do not hesitate to take your car to Martin, he is the best and will always explain what is needed to be done. I have dealt with Martin and Mandy in the office for more years than I can remember without ever having an issue with them I have given 5 stars because google does not allow me to give any more.

   Excellent service nothing is a problem to them always willing to help .i took my 1999 bmw , in for major work ,all done im not being over the top. but its like its had a new engine just so quiet and nice now , not one job missed from my list all done ,fantastic place , realy good price for what they had to do , they had my car 12 days ,its lush now .

   Have taken my Mercs and BMW to Bolton motor works for the last 10 years.Cannot fault anything they’ve ever done.Mandy goes above and beyond to help with any issues and Martin always fixes and carries out work to the highest standard and fully explains what the issues are and even shows you the parts that have been replaced and why on collection.Fantastic,professional service and at a fair price.I’d give ten stars if I could!!

   This review is long over due!!! I owe Mandy and Martin a 10 star review ever since my very first visit!! From the beginning they earned my trust instantly as I was quoted one price but they were able to fix it for 1/2 of that!! As a single female with no knowledge of cars, Martin and Mandy make sure to explain everything! They have worked on all three of my cars over the years 1 BMW and 2 Vauxhalls!! I recently visited a new mechanic only because Martin was fully booked but I INSTANTLY REGRETTED IT!!! (The new mechanic seemed to have a list of things he “thought” it could be- all were very expensive and were not 100% guaranteed to fix it) However, I waited and took it to Martin the next week and he sorted me out!! Martin is very honest and thorough mechanic. And Mandy is always friendly and very professional. Together they are a great team and will be my ONLY mechanics for more years to come! Keep up the good work. I really do appreciate your services. Tenille xx
