   These guys are so good at their job! I have taken various cars down to Marple Bridge Motor Co. over the years and every time I have been, they are always so courteous, knowledgeable and keen to help. They do not rip you off! I used to have a lovely Lexus IS250 V6 which the lads serviced and MOT'd for me. I had a new set of tyres fitted to my current car and they were able to do it next day and it was done on time. The tyres were all at the exact pressures too. Very recently, I rang them to say that my Mother in Law's car was dead on the road in Marple Bridge. They said that they would come out later that day to assess it. They turned up later in the day and worked out what the problem was. Incredible service which is quite rare these days! Highly recommended.

   My van broke down on the motorway & the AA had recovered me to the services & diagnosed the problem….. alternator dead! I called Marple Bridge Motor Company and they said “bring it in and we’ll get you sorted”. By the time the AA had recovered the van to the garage about 2hrs later, they already had the part in! Later that afternoon they called to say Job done & even brought my van back to me! Competitive prices (a new alternator is never going to be cheap) and faultless service.. very, VERY happy & grateful for such a fast, efficient & friendly service.

   Took my car in as it was due MOT. Bearing in mind this was our run around car purchased last year on the cheap, we were aware that it was probably going to be a fail/scrap job if it failed. They were honest about work that needed doing in order for it to pass but said it probably wasn’t worth spending the money, which again, we had an amount willing to spend but took their advice. They are very quick at getting you booked in and communication is great, friendly lads! Thanks

   These guys are absolutely spot on! My car wouldn’t start today and called up to see if they could help as I wasn’t too far away and they sent a couple of guys to check my car out and ended up fitting a whole new battery. Couldn’t appreciate the work these guys have done. Thank you again That’s not the first time they’ve done a favour for us! I would definitely recommend them!!

   Very disappointing service. Dropped my car off about 9.30am for an MOT. Heard nothing all day, so assumed all was well. Received phone call at approx 4.30pm saying they hadn't taken car for MOT as they'd decided my clutch needed replacing and it would cost £400-£500!? Firstly, why wait all day to tell me this? Secondly, I searched on Click Mechanic for a clutch replacement and was quoted £250. Thirdly, I've just had another garage check the clutch and it isn't slipping. They've now left me in a situation with no MOT over a bank holiday weekend and back at work next week so no time to take it in. Thanks for nothing!

   It's about time this garage had an up to date review. Recently had major meltdown with my car, engine over-heating. Pulled over and called Green Flag. Car was put on back of trailer and taken to my home. Told I couldn't drive car until it was fixed. This was a Friday evening so called Marple Motor Company on following Monday. Had to wait til following Friday for booking, busy local garage. The car was picked up on Friday morning for assessment of work required to get car road worthy. Needed new water pump and cam belt. Cost was £399. Nearly had a heart attack, still work had to be done so proceeded. It wasn't finished by end of play Friday so had to wait til following Monday for car to be finished. Car returned to me around 11am on following Monday. I checked prices for work carried with other sources and, to be fair, £399 was a competitive quite. Fitting new water pump is a big job, it's situated right in the centre off the engine so, quite labour intensive hense the costs involved. For me this was perfect solution. Good job guys. Like to use local businesses as much as possible.

   Stupidly I'd forgotten about my MOT and left it till the last minute. I found Marple Bridge Motor Co around the corner from me, I gave them a ring and they managed to book me in quickly. As I had to work, I left my car with them in the morning. I was updated throughout the day via telephone. My car failed it's MOT due to a broken rear spring. I had suspected that this was an issue. I was worried my MOT was going to run out but they managed to order the parts in, replace them and re-issue the MOT that same day and my car was ready by the time I finished work. The prices they quoted were very reasonable. Overall I'm very happy and will use these guys again if I need to.
