   honesty? 4 of us sat here getting drunk, an hour wait but we soon forgot about that, what felt like 10 mins later the food turns up, we were STARVING, the food was the nicest we have ever had, 30 minutes later we’re all KO’d on the couch loving life, 10/10 recommend

   I had to go to the pizza place next door because it's cash only! Crazy not to accept normal contactless payments in 2024 it's probably for money laundering reasons. It's a shame because I love Chinese chippy chips...

   The only thing this place has going for it is its hygiene rating which means at least I wont be getting poisoned. The food is genuinely shocking. A chippy that cannot cook chips is one to be avoided. Instead of proper chips you get oven chips deep fried, dry, bland, oily and in a bag like you used to get sweets in so they are all stuck to it. The meat in the special fried rice is from a freezer and dry, the price is more than any place on the Wirral and to top it all off, the 'reviews' on just eat are largely from the same 5 people copy and pasting over and over again. Count how many times Ronnie, Tina and Clare have left a review of 5 stars

   I've ordered from here a few times and its usually been great, but this time my fish was mostly batter. It will be a very long time before I order from here, if I ever do. Really disappointed.

   Fancy some nice chippy chips? Well, you're visiting the wrong establishment. The chips are without a doubt bought from a near supermarket then threw into the deep fryer. Over cooked and just a shell. A chip shop is only as good as their chips, and if the owners are incapable of putting in the effort to peel some potatoes than it sets an extremely low bar for the rest of their food. Fish cakes too are most defiantly out of a bag found in any frozen isle of your local supermarket. I'll be surprised if Bluebell actually makes anything in house. Delivery is extremely slow you'll be better off visiting Iceland buying the same chips Bluebell offers and popping them in the oven, and you'll still have time to eat them before your Bluebell order will arrive. Ordered twice about 3-4 months apart, so its not an isolated incident the experience was the same for both orders. They only received a second order as I'd forgotten it was Bluebell I had ordered from in the first poor experience the moment the misses asked where I had ordered from and reminded me about the prior experience we both placed our heads in our hands. Its that poor.
