Great job, had a new roof on my 350Z approx 6 years ago by approved Nissan dealer, not the best experience, took car to Carhoods for another new roof, wish i had taken it to them 1st time round, quality of roof much better and the fitting far superior. Great job hood closes much better. Thanks guys for a job well done
My 19yr old Audi TT soft top had shrunk about 5cm and had lifted from rear windscreen leaving it open to wet weather. Unfortunately not repairable. But CARHOODS NORTHERN based in Lymm, Cheshire (contact Elliot) have done the most amazing job and replaced with a brand new hood .... it looks fantastic for such an old car. Would highly recommend them if you ever have any problem with your soft top..... thanks to Elliot and his brother for 1st class service.
My wife owns a 2015 VW Beetle convertible. The car started to leak in. The passenger footwell behind the driver and a little bit in the boot, were saturated with water. We were concerned that winter is just around the car and the weather would start to get wet and cold. Firstly we booked the car in with my local VW main dealer. They had the car for three days and reported that they couldn't repair the car afterall. So I researched the internet and found Carhoods northwest. My first contact was with Elliott, I explained what was happening to the car, initially a diagnosis of blocked drain holes was suggested. I had to wait 3 weeks before they could see me. On the day Arthur looked at the car, checking and clearing the drain holes. But whilst the car was dismantled it was discovered the car had two leaks, one behind the rear speaker and one behind the hood itself. This was a little more serious than initially anticipated and the hood needs to be completly removed, so I left them to it both Elliott and Arthur giving it their full attention. They spend all day on this repair and the morning the day after. Elliott rang me at home to give me updates on the rapair. The day after we collected the car completely repaired and fixed. Everyday since the repair it has rained. The car is almost now completely dry. Elliot did say it may take upto a couple of weeks especially this time of year for the car to dry out, we are now at day 5. So just want to say a massive thank you to Arthur and Elliott for your time and dedication fixing our car. I would highly recommend this company.
