Oh my goodness. Everyone needs a Rukhsana in their life. What a beautiful caring lady with a great talent for sewing. She turned up my jeans, repaired the hem of my skirt and fixed the zip of my coat in just a couple of days. All with great precision and a touch of Rukhsana love and magic. My overall experience was excellent. I had 3 long sleeved shirts made into short sleeves. The service was excellent my shirts were done in quick time. The company treated myself and my shirts in a professional manner. The end product was better than I expected due to the designs on the shirts. The cost for my alterations was very good and competitive. I would highly recommend and definitely use this company again in the future.
I had a dress for a wedding (guest) shortened by Rukhsana as it was too long in length and trailed the floor. The length cut to is perfect and the stitching done as per the original. The work was done in less than a week and way before the deadline I had asked for. Rukhsana is such a lovely person too, so polite and makes you feel so welcome in her home. The price was extremely reasonable too for how perfect the job was done and the quick turnaround in having the alterations done. I would definitely go to her again for any other alteration works required in the future.
Rukhsana made a number of complex alterations to a suit, which was around two sizes too big in the trousers and jacket. Following the initial consultation, during which the process was explained, I was confident that the suit could be altered to fit as required. Rukhsana shortened the trouser legs and took them in at the waist. She shortened the jacket sleeves and took it in at different points. The finished suit is absolutely perfect and you would not know that it has been altered. The stitching is immaculate and everything has been done with such care and attention to detail. Rukhsana is highly skilled and a genuinely lovely person to deal with. I have no hesitation in recommending her services.
I took my daughters prom dress to Rukhsana as it was too long and needed shortening. The dress has quite a large train at the back so it all needed adjusting in length. Rukhsana was so thorough in making sure it was the correct length with her shoes on and really took her time. She managed to complete the work in such a short turnaround. It looks amazing now it hangs beautifully, I can’t recommend her enough the finish is extremely professional and you can’t tell at all.
