“A fantastic service from an extremely kind engineer :) John responded within a couple of hours to my phone call regarding a fault with my combi-boiler that was tripping out the electricity to all the house socket outputs. He kept to precisely to the suggested appointment time and quickly diagnosed the problem. The complete solution needed an electrician, but he provided a safe interim fix that enabled us to continue to use the boiler and keep our electricity on! The charge was also extremely reasonable. Most importantly to me, as a woman requesting assistance, John was clear about the problem and solution and was not in the least patronising - not a given when getting help from an industry sector that is largely male-dominated. Thank you John - I really appreciated your professionalism and expertise :)”

“Ordered decking from here to replace old rotting decking. They didn’t have the decking size I originally wanted in stock but they were in touch quickly to tell me about another size they had which turned out to be the perfect fit. Great service, the delivery driver rang 10 minutes before arrival on both occasions as I had 2 delivery’s (I had to order more than planned after my first order). Would highly recommend the quality is also fantastic.”

The two women on the counter were very pleasant and did their best to help and then I had a chat with Lee and he is a guru and knew exactly what I was after! Having decided to try my arm at fitting a bath I called in Screwfix on Saturday morning for some tap-copper pipe connectors (yes, my plumbing knowledge hasn't improved!) Fin did an excellent job in picking out what I needed, even after I bamboozled him with the size of pipe connector I was after (I measured circumference as I haven't sawn them yet!).
