“Probably the best chicken shawarma sandwich I've had in a while. Nice soft bread, lovely pickled salad and juicy chicken pieces. Meal with chips was value for money but just the sandwich alone was enough to fill your hunger.”

“A fantastic local place in Mirfield - the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The drinks are great and cakes/savouries are delicious. They have regular food pop ups on weekends which are perfect to try different and new cuisines! Would definitely recommend for during the day - I haven’t visited on an evening yet so can’t comment on what it’s like. We are regulars here and my little boy is obsessed with seeing the staff who are so lovely to him.”

“We've seen the ladies from Antich as several wedding fayres and have always found them to be very approachable and easy to talk to. They have always been really knowledgeable about everything suits and more besides! We had an idea as to what we wanted as we were having an abroad wedding so wanted to go cream/beige to keep it light, but were debating over buying/hiring the suits, Sam, Chelsea and Stacey helped with the decision providing their thoughts on both sides including what the materials would be like. We decided to hire 3 suits (groom, best man, father of the bride) and arranged to have ties and pocket squares to match our wedding colours - which they did perfectly! We were able to tailor everything to exactly what we needed for the day and they made sure we had chance to try the suits a week prior to taking them away to make sure they fit properly ready for the wedding. They even managed to get a longer hire period as we were away for a couple of weeks so wouldn't be able to get the suits back quickly. Every time we went in, we were made to feel really welcome (even getting a cuppa!) and I can't recommend them enough, absolutely fantastic service from everyone we dealt with and we will definitely continue to use them for any other suit needs!”

I have used Five Star Autocentre before, from the diagnostic to completing the work, they have always done a great job. The complimentary car wash is also a nice gesture! “The best breakfast I've had in an age, bar none. A pleasant, clean and welcoming place, well lit and comfortably furnished. The staff were welcoming and tolerant of our prevaricating over what to have for breakfast. We all chose brunch options - eggs benedict; sourdough with avocado; and, sourdough with beetroot; plus a side of pancakes! I had the beetroot dish - Whipped Feta & Beets. Toasted sourdough with chilled pickled beets and a poached egg was an unexpected winner - the warmth of the bread with the flavour and chill of the beets, combined with the whipped feta, were a sensation. Sense of taste, texture and temperature running riot in my mouth with every bite. I had a large black Americano to wash it down - a flavoursome coffee - and felt genuine disappointment as I savoured the final mouthful of beets and bread, Great breakfast venue, thoroughly recommended.”

“We love love love Old George at Heritage Mills! Ever since they opened we have been coming here on little brunch dates or with our little man and every time is a great experience. When we have friends or family visiting from out of town we bring them here knowing it’s great every time. The team are welcoming and friendly, the menu is spot on every time and the coffee (well this is the biggest reason for the shower of love - they know what they are doing)! We also love the tech approach with ordering food and drinks and rewards program for repeat customers is just a great bonus. Special shout out to the Kidlet Pancakes (with a portion of marshmallows) - love from your number one 6 year old fan!”

“We have been getting pizza from Papa Johns for over a year now. Fast delivery and always on time. Fresh and quality ingredients every time. Always friendly and polite on the phone. Won’t be changing anytime soon. My wife’s not a pizza fan but she love it from papa Johns it’s our go too take way every week.”

“This is my favourite place for getting spices and things like lentils, chickpeas and garlic pickle. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the prices are better than the average corner shop. Fruit and veg are not always great quality (I don’t think there’s much turnover) but prices reflect this.”

“I would highly recommend the Repair Hub. I was having issues with an iPad charging port that I thought was going to be a costly repair. The staff explained this might not be the case and it could be a simple fix. My device was fixed within hours and there was no charge. I will certainly be visiting again. “I love bringing the dogs here and they love it too. There's a large choice of food and treats and toys and even clothing for dogs (why I'd put a coat on a collie is a mystery, but other breeds aren't as hardy). We used to get senior food for our much missed cat and the choice and quality on offer for a senior moggy was handy because she could change her tastes from week to week. They cater for other pets too and the staff are happy, friendly and knowlegible on everything I've I've asked them about. I've given feedback on some of the stuff I've bought and earlier this year our youngest dog came to the puppy club on Saturday mornings. I was particularly impressed by the staff member who was in charge of that as he was watching more than 5 dogs at once and answering questions from every owner and having a play with the pups at the same time (Chris? I can't remember, sorry). I have one suggestion if you want to visit Pets Corner, walk down the outdoor plants section of the garden centre (the garden centre is a different company). Your dog will be happier autside and the garden centre appear to be making the inside too narrow in places. In summary, it's a good petshop to use, ticking all my boxes.”
