I ordered two lattes and a slice of chocolate cake. Unfortunately, the cake did not seem fresh, and the coffee lacked flavour and served in plastic cup. In addition, the staff were not very friendly or welcoming, which affected the overall experience. I was disappointed, as I expected better quality and service. But music was great.
Went to the new shop first to be told they don't do food but two sat outside were eating a toasted teacake and one was brought to another table as I was leaving? We were served a freezer burnt teacake which I mentioned to a member of staff, response... Nothing! Just a look, not good enough. Also the tuna in my panini was a joke, I could scoop it up on a knife the amount that was in one half. Cheap coleslaw! The coffee however was excellent, probably the best I've had but the poor service regarding the food has put me off ever coming back!
I highly recommend this cafe. Food was great and service was fantastic. Plenty of seating. Lovely place to meet with family and friends. A great vegan breakfast.
Lovely little coffee and eating place. They roast their own coffee beans, which you can buy to take home. Coffee and food was delicious. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Obviously passionate about all the different sources and tastes of the beans too. Will definitely go back. BTW its cash only
A group of 6 went for the first time today we were seated upstairs. We ordered vegetarian breakfast..I didn't want tomotoes or mushroom so was subsisted for an extra halloumi slice. Veg sausages were amazing! We all Enjoyed the food it was hot and delicious... only slight nighle would be 1 egg isn't enough definitely need 2! Also don't margarine the toast...butter please! Oat latte was delicious...the coffee definitely has flavour. We would definitely return..CASH ONLY or Bank transfer accepted!
Just visited for the first time with my husband this morning for a full English. The service was very good and they were all so friendly. Had to sit upstairs as it was so busy so it was a little chilly but they’d done all they can by putting portable radiators up there so can’t fault them for that and It wouldn’t put me off coming back. Probably the best coffee I’ve ever had.
Great little corner café who roast their own coffee beans. Large choice of homemade cakes and cooked food options, including vegetarian
Very friendly staff. As you would expect from somewhere that roast their own beans the coffee is excellent. The vegie breakfast was wonderful, they have a great cake selection of which the apple and cinnamon tasted of autumn. The staff are good with children and made my 3 year old daughter very welcome.
