I’m a carer working in the community. I noticed I had a flat tyre. I rang my breakdown cover to fine it had just ran out. Was just passing this garage and popped in to ask if the space could be put on so I could continue working. The lad changed my tyre and put the space on for me with no charge. Very happy
Took my car in last week with a engine malfunction warning light showing. Had great service from Brad who undertook a diagnostic check and sorted the fault quickly. I highly recommend this garage.
Took my car in yesterday with a few problems and for an MOT when fixed, expected them to have it for a week or so, finished all the work and MOT done within 7 hours of dropping the car off and the bill was lower than I expected. Great service, great lads 5* will use this garage for the foreseeable future
Recommend! I service and MOT my vintage vehicle here and before the most recent service she could barely get uphill in 2nd gear. After, she flew up the same hill in 3rd no problem. They are reasonably priced and cheaper than nearby garages.
I’ve have been taking my car to this garage for a number of years now and never had any issues up until now. My car needed a new chain in the engine and I was quoted £1000 for it to be fixed, before I could even say anything I was asked if I wanted to scrap my car for £500 (car is worth 3-4k scrap In fully working order). I contacted another garage for a second opinion, as I know nothing about cars, and he agree it was the engine chain that was broken. He quoted me £450 to fix the engine chain and a full service. I also mentioned my handbrake was a-bit lose and he fixed that too. The total price was £500. Please shop around or ask for a second opinion before agreeing to any work done by this garage. £500 different is a ridiculous amount of money to lose out on. Shame on Yates really I think they make the prices up as they go.
I went in and asked to use the toilet , and to buy a coffee. I had a mask on. I was rudely refused by Dan , saying they were for staff only, no mention of Covid 19 or anything else. Checked on the Shell website - " Shell toilets are for CUSTOMERS and staff", and i've used toilets at other Shell garages , BP etc. I'm a key worker, delivering food in a large van , and my route didn't have anywhere suitable close by. I'm also local , AND , this is the garage i use , as i have a Shell 'Go' card !. Petty , unnecessary staff attitude.

Great service and prices. They serviced my husbands car today and they have done a great job.The staff always explain everything very well and get the job done when they say it will be done. Certainly the best value, and most honest, garage we have dealt with it the Marple area.
This is a good place to refuel, it has a convenience store stocking many items. There is a garage which does servicing and mot tests here
