ABSOLUTE CON. £31 for an all you can eat buffet sounds super, and we can’t knock the quality as the food was great. However, you cannot see the food portions before you order so, like with all restaurants, sometimes the portions are too much to finish. The menu clearly stated that no food can be taken home so we ate all we could and left some. As our plates were cleared the rude waiter explained that we would be faced with a “food wastage charge”. I appreciate this as we all want to do our bit for the planet and reduce waste - so we asked to take the rest home, to ensure NO FOOD WOULD BE WASTED, to which the waiter explained that this would also incur ANOTHER charge. So you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t. Thrilling. The waiter was incredibly blunt and rude in saying this, and also couldn’t wait to hurry us out regardless of us being finished with our meals or not. What an easy way to con you into spending £31 PLUS all the added extra fees regardless of what you choose. Avoid the buffet at all costs as you will NEVER end up spending only £31 as there are many ways to make up extra money. Not to mention the service charge…

I was introduced to this Beijing restaurant by a Malaysian friend, and I was truly impressed. The food here is very authentic you can taste Malaysian flavours, Hong Kong-style dishes, and traditional Chinese flavours as well. I believe they must have chefs from different backgrounds, because they manage to deliver such a wide range of delicious and authentic dishes. The service is excellent too. The staff are polite, friendly, and very efficient. You can tell that the management is responsible and pays attention to the details, whether it’s clearing tables or serving dishes. Everything feels well organized and professional. I also really enjoyed the karaoke section. After dinner, it’s a great place to relax, sing, and have a small gathering with friends. The system works smoothly, the song selection is up to date, and overall it adds a fun and lively atmosphere to the restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and has a classy, almost five star feel compared to many places in the area. Overall, great food, great service, and a great environment. Highly recommended!

We went last Sunday for Buffet Lunch for 4 people. This was the first time for the 3 of us. It was a serve sit down stlye Buffet. I can't fault the food to be honest! I love my Chinese food and by far the best taste and quality Chinese Buffet I ever had! The only reason for 4 star is that there was no dessert offered as part of the buffet menu. I think for £30 per person, even just ice cream for dessert at least something. Total bill for us £180. However, I do agree with the other reviewers that service charge should be optional and not mandatory.

Great place to have food, it's neat and tidy with good lighting. The food tastes very good but in small portions. So you might need to order a little bit more than usual. The only thing I was surprised is £5.20 for a bowl of rice which is almost 2 times the normal price.

Went for the Sunday buffet. Portion size is good and selection is varied. The food was tasty and good quality. Minus 1 star because they class children over 10 as adults which seems a little weird. Don’t over order on starters as they’ll bring your mountains of food and you’ll fill up before main course. Some dishes very salty so get lots of tap water to go with your food.

Amazing food. Instantly fell in love. Recommend their pork belly and Singapore noodles. Definitely recommend and buy again.

I ordered Nasi goreng for take away, didn’t like it at all. The rice is way too hard and dry, and the most important of all, not enough nasi goreng paste, so it’s basically just a plain fried rice. I’ve tried it in somewhere else, so much better than this. The restaurant looks nice and pretty, also the service is great too, every staff is nice. Given the quality of the food I got, I would say it’s overpriced. Maybe you should have different prices for take away? The sweetcorn chicken soup is nice though.

Best Chinese food in Guildford. We came for a birthday lunch on Sunday and enjoyed the buffet which is £22 for adults and £12 for children. They even gave us a souvenir photo of our group to take home as a gift which was a nice touch. The buffet concept is that you can keep reordering food and they will make it fresh for you and deliver it to your table- this is much more preferable than standard buffets where food can be sitting under hot plates for hours. Just be sure not to over order as food wastage is charged. The food itself is absolutely lovely and always top quality. Service is pretty quick but it does get busy so I’d definitely recommend you book in advance. Yes, it’s not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for here.

It’s a wonderful Chinese restaurant - good location, easy parking in the side street, and amazing interiors - with some tasty Chinese food. However we arrived at this restaurant at approx 1:50pm for lunch, and even though they were closing at 2:30pm - and not busy at all the staff was unhappy to seat us down. He also pushed us to order within 2-3 minutes of arrivals - even though when we hadn’t looked through the menu - so it spoiled our experience and the restaurant lost 2 stars from my review. A vegan person can also have a good meal here.
