   It’s not about the money, it’s about fairness. Almost £9 for some boiled rice with a few tiny bits of egg — that’s just not right. I ended up going home and cooking it again, adding veggies and sauce, just to make it taste like a proper takeaway. Maybe my mistake for ordering something too simple, but every egg fried rice I’ve had before had at least a bit of flavour and some vegetables in it. This one felt really plain and disappointing. Honestly, it made me feel like the world is upside down when something so basic costs so much.

   The quality of the food is awful. Cold on arrival, the salt and pepper prawns were tasteless and overly saturated in flour (£19.80!). Prices are insane. The worst Chinese food I've had. Avoid!!!

   I got a takeaway from here one Sunday evening with family. I decided to go for the Singapore Rice Noodles (£14.20) which consisted of mixed meats containing shrimps, chicken, and cha siu pork along with various vegetables. It was a nice, big portion due to the size of the takeaway box, so I couldn't complain about that part of my order. There was a good enough amount of mixed meat and veg in the dish also. I just found it to be a bit dry, so I added some soy sauce more than once in order to keep the dish moist. But yeah, just another average Chinese takeaway, in my opinion...which was overpriced considering it was just noodles with a bit of meat and veg, hence the 3 stars. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The food arrived in good time, but I'm not fussed about ordering from there again, to be honest.

   There really isn't any atmosphere to speak of, as it's basically a kitchen with a waiting room. The food portions are generously sized and therefore the price is good. I have liked most of what I've had from The Good Earth. Note: I don't use a delivery service. My experience only reflects ordering and taking away.

   Nasty food. Will not come here again. Food does not look like what you would expect. It also tastes nasty. They have no chili oil.Just a nasty restaurant experience. I give this 0 stars.

   Terrible. Lots of chicken in my vegetarian pad Thai but still had some tofu so wasn’t that the order was wrong. Rang to say something must be wrong in the kitchen and was told they’d make a note for next time I ordered - as if it’s the exception to not want chicken in a vegetarian dish. Other food in the order was poor. Will never be back

   For the cost this is now a joke. The shredded chicken with chillies was disgusting for £9.60 .Will not be ordering again and i see others are feeling the same. Hope it hits you in the pocket and remember once you lose the locals........game over. I see the poor reviews have been for a while so they were never heeded.

   Prices AGAIN increased. Good Earth was never cheap, but now it starts to become ridiculous. They increased prices recently and now again. We like the food and we collect so no issue with delivery times. But in the 5 years or so we go there prices increased by 40 to 70%. E.g Soup, 3,90 to 5,90P Duck 36 to 51P (Vs 17% inflation since 2015) Last night is was VERY calm. Maybe long delivery times will not be a big issue in the future anymore. Anybody with a good alternative?
