Great local takeaway, good food good service. Love the options for vegetarian "chicken", never seen that at a Chinese before but really makes a difference for me
What a disappointing experience for a first time customer. Ordered a house special chow main(which should include king prawns chicken, beef ,pork)and a satay chicken on skewers. Requested for no beef or pork on the chow main. Delivery time wasn’t bad. Upon opening the chow main container I realised there was literally one small prawn in the chow main. Unbelievable !! £8 dish !! Unfortunately for me this will be the first and last order from this place.
Garbage. Thought I’d give them one last try but bad food, terrible service and useless communication. This place used to be good. Now it’s a disgrace but, to be fair, it’s not all their fault. JustEat and other platforms that represent them are equally culpable. JE allow these suppliers to manage their own delivery process so customers are actually better off ordering by phone….
My usual Chinese was closed on a Tuesday and so I tried this take away for a large order for my mothers birthday. I am please to say I was not disappointed. the food was excellent . It arrived hot and was very tasty. It was not oily or greasy. The taste was very good. Vicky who worked there was extremely helpful in suggesting what dishes to order. I will defiantly be ordering from there again and so will the rest of my family.
Always great food and staff are very friendly. Couldn’t ask for more!
I phoned in an order for collection. It was ready on time in about 10 minutes. The food was reasonably priced and tasted nice, however, they only seem to accept cash, which could be a problem for some.
Ordered house special rice on 26/11/2020. House special rice,chilli beef and prawn balls. House special rice was delicious. Cooked dry with all the meats. Next day 27/11/2020 ordered the same dishes and was very disappointed. House special rice was plain egg fried rice with all the meats in a brown gravy poured on top of the egg fried rice. Disgusting! Gravy was bland as were the boiled meats in the sauce. TERRIBLY INCONSISTENT. Not sure about ordering from them now.
China World use to be great having used them for many years. due to Covid 19 or bad management prices have increased from £26 for a meal for two people £36 for a baby meal for two people. nothing left for Sunday lunchtime. Really a rotten thing to do . spoke to Lady I ordered food with she laughs said Management will phone me. zero phone call . I am very sad as support many local shops and restaurants. I can not recommend China world .
