I have been order my meals from this place in the past 6 months and i would love to say i love it and highly recommend the Singapore Style Vermicelli .
I had a superb lovely delicious meals today as my wife love this king prawns kungpho also enjoy Singapore style vermicelli .Love this place.
I want to start off by saying that I've been ordering from Pearl China for pretty much 20 years or thereabouts. Their food was genuinely the best Chinese take away in the area and I would recommend them to anyone. However, the last 6 months or so the owners have changed and the food is not the same, still decent but lacking. The portion sizes have definitely shrunk and the prices have rocketed. The customer service is absolutely awful and the lady who answers the phone is often very rude. Last night we placed an order and it was wrong, as simple as making a dish with the wrong meat and forgetting the curry sauce. No big deal but my partner called to let her know it was wrong and he drove back to swap it. When he was given the correct dish, he was then awkwardly told that he would have to pay more money for her mistake. Because a beef dish is more expensive than chicken. To add to that, the chicken they use is cheap water injected chicken that is like rubber. We were also made aware that their hygiene rating has dropped from a 5 to a 2. And being from a catering background, I know what that looks like behind the scenes in a take away. When Jenny and her family owned the business you would easily have to wait up to an hour for your food if you called on a weekend, that's how good they were and such lovely people. Now, your food is ready in 10 minutes. Says a lot and we will be taking our business elsewhere.
Iβve been going here for 10 years was the best ever. Iβve ordered 3 times since the new owners took over and itβs disgusting. Spent Β£55 today. Food was freezing, tasteless, crispy beef is now thin and I think it was just batter. Large spring rolls were soggy and greasy, onions tasted sour, Prawn crackers are now the thin cheap greasy ones I have in my cupboard from the wholesaler. ALSO 2 food hygiene rating!! Thatβs filth. Itβs gone from a 5 when Jenny was there to now 2. Will not be returning. Taste and quality has gone down hill.
Used to be good but they have increased their prices a lot, as compared to other Chinese take away.
A good Chinese food restaurant, especially Chicken Fired Rice. Beef Ho Fun and Roast Pork Chow Mein also good. Cash Only.

Pearl China makes fantastic food, I do not think Iβve had one dish from there which I disliked. Very accommodating for vegetarian diets too! The staff are very friendly, and portion sizes are good
Visiting Pearl China was certainly an experience to remember, the food here appears simple but the flavors have a remarkable depth. I would recommend it to everybody, and for those searching for an extraordinary culinary experience like no other, look no further than Pearl China. I would also like to praise the staff, as they were very nice and friendly. :)
