Unfortunately our food was covered in hairs. We spent 28 pounds and the noodles and had loads of hairs. Threw all away. Will not be going back This was my plate before I threw out. I didnt think to take photos of everything. But the hairs were like everywhere mixed up with the noodles. I dont understand this. I mean occasionally the odd hair. This was atleast 20 hairs. Very gross
Can be good food but absolutely disgusting service. Ordered chicken but they gave me beef and vegetable. I callled and let them know they gave me wrong order, could i drive it back and get it rectified. To be told I'm a liar !? How can you argue with a customer on the phone and scream at them that they had ordered beef, when I know for a fact I ordered chicken. Makes no sense. Like why would I lie about this??? I just wanted the food I had ordered. I never once said I want any beef or vegetables - iv never ordered it before!? It's a shame as we did enjoy previous orders but after the way I was spoken to I will take my money somewhere else.
I would like to start off by saying that the food here is amazing and i would recommend it to everyone, however, make sure you ask the "lady" on the other end of the phone to repeat your order back to you to ensure it is correct. We ordered 2x set C (for one person) last night, went to pick up, friendly smiley faces (because you're holding money) and off we went. Got home and saw that they had in fact made us 2x set B. That's okay we thought, so i called to let them know and to see if we could just swap it back and all be satisfied. Quite frankly, the abuse that was belted down the phone at me was nothing but impressive. The customer service was like nothing i had experienced before. And I don't mean that in a positive way. Had she allowed me to speak, let alone finish a sentence, we would have gotten to the bottom of the issue much quicker. there was no apology in making the wrong food or taking the order incorrectly. The sad bit is that we really just wanted to take the food back and leave with the right food, as we really enjoyed it the last two times. When i tried to ask if we could just bring the food back and get the right food, i was told "I'm too busy, you can just have your money back" Don't cross that lady behind the counter. Oh yeah, and she will hang up on you.
Unfortunately not a good experience. Half duck normally comes in a bag not a tupplewere container box which made me immediately suspicious. Opened it to find the duck dry, overcooked and chopped up instead of on the bone. I believer they did this to try cover up overcooking the duck however I am not stupid. Over half was inedible and the rest extremely dry . Very disappointing as I am normally a returning customer but now I am put off.
Used McDragon for the last 15 years and never had a problem until last 2 times. 1st time noodles were burnt and inedible. Thought I'd give them them the benefit as a one off so ordered again another time. This time however was awful. The set meal was really dissapointing. For the price which is expensive, you get one round tub with a small amount of noodles, rice and sweet and sour chicken which all mixes together sonyou cant really taste it individually. It really isn't worth the money. I also got chicken balls which I can only describe as disgusting. I actually had to spit them out and throw most away. The chicken tasted awful. It was hard chewy and fatty. Tasted more like pork than chicken, it actually left me feeling physically ill. So dissapointed that a place that used to be so good has gone so down hill recently. Will not use again. Shame.
Twice in a week eaten here, both times I had there chicken curry, excellent quality, great ingredients and I order extra spicy, it’s that thicker curry sauce , not that runny type I detest, loads big prices chicken and dish was beautiful , rice noodles same quality, delivery first time, that was longer than it should but it snowed, this time pick up, great meal I recommend this excellent chinese
Been ordering from here for around a year now and never had a bad one yet! Often arrives quicker than the estimated time unlike all the others Ive tried which used to go over the time and we order enough for dinner and lunch the next day and definately get good value for money doing that
1st visit for a while but I was impressed. The food was nice, portions generous, price reasonable and the website is a good addition ad it meant not having to use a 3rd party. I'll definitely be back
I have lived In Sutton for 4 years and have finally found the best Chinese this evening. Freshly cooked, lots of flavours and a very quick service. We had home delivery and arrived hot and within the time stipulated. Thank you
