J Dragon is the only Chinese shop that has a friendly happiness environment and all my family love the food and the people who own it me personally I would not go anywhere else
I have been ordering from them for over a decade now, and the food is consistently good and very reasonable. I highly recommend the Jade Dragon Special Crispy Noodles, which has an assortment of vegetables and several meats and a house special sauce completes the dish, a complete meal in itself for under £7. The prawn crackers are fresh and flavourful, and they've been very kind and helpful when I was convalescing and needed dishes tailored. Always delivered cheerfully, no matter the weather (thank you!).
After trying a number of different dishes from Jade Dragon, this is going to my last. A tasteless watery Chop Suey. The different dishes generally don’t have enough vegetables or just chucked in at random. I would appreciate if they were more consistent & generous with that.
Food was good - hot, tasty, and reasonably priced. The man who delivered it was very polite and friendly. Best one we've found locally since our favourite closed down about a year ago. Recommend!
Would not recommend. I had ordered a chicken chow mein which had a really horrible taste to it and left a nasty after taste. The chicken looked so dark it looked like beef and the taste was definitely not your normal chicken chow mein, it tasted like there was spice added to it. Not nice at all.
Nice food and super warm family! I got lock out at night and I had nothing with me (not even my mobile phone and wallet) but they allowed me to sit inside the restaurant as it was freezing outside and offered me a free big dish of fried noodles that I couldn't even finish. Since I have visited this shop for three times only andI have just recently arrived in the UK not long ago and still do not familiar the country too much. They helped me called the locksmith and got it sorted at the end. Without them I may end up with a worse scenario than this!
Delivered this child sized box and charged £4.80. Better to order from absolutely anywhere else.
We specifically contacted the restaurant prior to ask if their roast duck was crispy - they said they would not only tell the chef to remove fat, but ensure it is well cooked and crispy. They also said it comes in a thick plum sauce, we were very disappointed with the look at the taste. Far from what they had said. Even the egg fried rice was horrid - we have no idea how on earth they have so many good reviews. This is the first time we have ever thrown a whole meal in the bin.
