Ordered a home delivery online for 4 people. This is the first time that I have ordered from Ya Hao & can honestly say that all 4 of us thought that the food was delicious. Since our normal Chinese closed down a few months ago we have tried various options & this was by far the best. I have read some of the reviews, can only comment on our experience. The delivery was on time, the food was as we ordered, it was hot & it was extremely good. We will definitely order again & hope it is just as good.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The food was mediocre, but the real issue was the absolutely shocking customer service! We ordered via UberEats and delivery time was reasonable (about 40 minutes). However, two of our dishes were missing (one of which was the rice - a main component of a Chinese takeaway dinner!). I immediately phoned the restaurant, and the woman on the phone said they would send the missing items in 20 minutes. I explained this wasn’t acceptable as the rest of the food would be cold, and asked for my full Combi meal (3 items) to be re-cooked and delivered since there was going to be such a delay. She said “ok” and hung up on me. From the minute this woman answered the phone she was rude, but hanging up the phone is absolutely unacceptable. I ended up driving to the restaurant myself to collect my food as quickly as possible. I told her it was extremely rude to hang up on a customer. She then tried to claim there had been a phone line issue—conveniently, one that hadn’t existed during our earlier conversation. When I asked for a refund for the missing items and inconvenience caused, she refused, claiming they had already re-made the food and “needed to pay for electricity.” She then said she was new and didn’t know what else to do, and walked away into the kitchen. At this point, I promised to write a review on my experience and left the restaurant. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will never order from here again.

It was okay when I first ordered a month ago but the second time is really disappointing. The fried rice was very dry and no taste at all, while the beef is really tough and hard to chew.

Ginger spring onion fish fillets are delicious . Not many Chinese takeaway do this dish. Roast pork fried rice tastes very very fresh too

Great noodles not swimming in grease or overloaded with soya sauce. Good meat in the curry. Cooked so well. Decent chunks of beef in black been sauce. Pack the food containers to the brim. All round very good takeaway

Usually order chicken balls. All I recommend is you DON'T. Very little chicken a huge amount of batter, that is soft and uncooked. Even when I told them about this, and reminded them next time I ordered, they were the same undercooked peices of batter. NEVER AGAIN!!

Ordered a chicken chow mein, special fried rice, salt and pepper chicken bits and chicken balls . The chow mein was fine, we didn't recieve our special fried rice it was some other chicken and beef rice dish in some kind of watery black sauce, which was absolutely revolting, the beef in it was like dirty piss flaps. The chicken balls was lovely as always though . The salt and pepper chicken bits were beyond dry and had a strange flavour. Overall not impressed in the slightest .

Tasty food and decent portions. My favourite Chinese is beef in black bean sauce and I order at every Chinese place. Only reason this is not 5 star is because I have had better beef black bean sauce dishes at other Chinese takeaways. Delivery is quick and if you order prawn crackers they are generous with portion, I was given 2 bags. Chips were banging with the curry sauce! Would recommend this place.
