Returning after 10 years. No frills honest good food. Best duck in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia. I've had roast ducks, geese in all these countries and this still stands out.
When we came, the restaurant was totally stuffed with people, but we waited for 20 minutes, and it was worth it! The food is amazing! My husband loves spicy food, and I hate spicy food. But somehow they managed to make the food perfectly for the both of us!
Was on holiday in London and hadn’t had any Asian food in over a week so I was looking to satisfy a craving! Food was flavourful and the service was so quick and efficient. Got some delicious little oranges at the end of the meal too. My favourite was the spicy chilli beef - was super soft and the flavour was perfect. I think the green beens and pork was a little bit on the salty side but was fine as we ate it with the noodles. The noodles were great with a good amount of meats and a perfect crunch!
A friend introduced me to Four Seasons. The restaurant is in a good location. I’m happy that our waiter was accommodating, as I do not eat pork. The menu options are good and I really enjoyed their braised tofu. Good food for those seeking authentic Chinese food.
My husband and I decided to pop in here for dinner tonight as we were craving Chinese food. We ordered the 3 BBQ meats with rice combo, beef chow fun, and seafood pan fried noodles...all of which were delicious! However, the service was definitely the downfall as it was pretty dismissive. Not once were we offered any tea or water, and we had to continually ask for small dinner plates and condiments (since our waitress kept forgetting). If you can look past the poor service, this would be a great spot for some authentic Cantonese-style food. 3 stars.
one of my friends recommended the pork stomach and chicken soup bc she said it was good last time but this time we all agreed it had way too much pepper - so much it was almost inedible. the salt and pepper squid was nice and crispy but nothing special. the duck had a quite a lot of meat but it was very bland. we also had tofu with seafood hot pot which i was excited for but it was quite disappointing - the sauce was very watery and tasted just like water too and the tofu was overcooked. the best dish was the morning glory though and a very big portion.
Before Covid-19, the taste was deep, so I occasionally went to Bays Water, but after a long time there is no white table cover, and there are hardly any seats for two people. There are too many tables for the size of the store. Also, you have to wait at least 20 minutes after ordering your food. Should we increase the number of kitchen staff or receive fewer guests? And as I always feel, the faces of the employees are always angry. Especially men with ponytails and older women with short hair who look like managers. This time, the food I ordered came out too late, so I laughed when I asked him again what he ordered. I see you smiling for the first time This restaurant used to be quite luxurious, but now it feels like a local mart. I don't think I'm going to find it on purpose. It's not the four seasons it used to be.
We were all craving some peking duck and found his place on google maps. When we came, we were the only non Chinese people in the restaurant so we thought it was a really good sign and we are gonna get some really tasty Chinese food. And we were right! It was kinda hectic inside but very authentic so it wasn’t bothering at all. The Peking duck was amazing! So flavorful, soft yet crispy, just as it should be. I also really loved the tofu. Portions were very big and generous. We really enjoyed our dinner here! Recommend!
Super easy Chinese Fast Food. The restaurant is very cozy and very busy. they offer food that tasty and delicious. The most famous dish is roast duck. But for me everything is good especially those vegetables and stir fry.
