    GONE OFF CHICKEN WINGS !! I went here on the 4th of October to buy some salt and pepper chicken wings and they sold me gone off chicken wings. When I called to let them know as these things happen, the lady asked me “is it the flat wings” and it was in fact a flat wing I had eaten which let me know she knew they were probably gone off but just sold them to me anyways. Terrible don’t recommend.

    I had a delivery last night. My partner and I noticed the rice was stodgy and wet. I had an egg fried rice, she also had a special fried rice. Upon eating the rice… we both thought.. it’s a bit mushy and not much flavour?! The rice started tasting off. We smelt it and it smelt absolutely sour. We called the restaurant and he said there’s nothing he could do. He instructed we would need to bring the rice in tomorrow (which is now today) for the chef to look at it. He then argued that “the rice was freshly cooked. The chef said he cooked it 3 hours ago”. Baring in mind… yesterday was as a hot day which later turned into a smoggy and humid night. Although this might be TMI ( we have been experiencing symptoms of food poisoning) need I say more?

    I have eaten here my whole life, I've never noticed any decline in food or service. Staff are always friendly, whether I pick up or order a delivery. I am a picky eater so I always have rather specific requests and they always accommodate my needs with a smile. I believe their food to be good value for money, my tummy has never not been satisfied eating here. Thank you Phoenix for delicious meals every time! :)

    Didn't realize how dirty this place was until after I had ordered and it was too late to cancel... Needs a good clean inside and there's no hygiene rating displayed which is suspicious. The man taking my order had filthy black nails too.... The food was stale, the chicken smelled off! I took it back and got a refund with no questions asked

    Always has customers...which is always a good sign.. . Good food... Nice service... Same owners for years... Cash only payments which it doesnt state until u reach restaurant. (Not helpful if you phone in your order)

    Food not really tasty. Noodles Just made with no feel. Have only slight taste of Chinese. Same food i buy from other Chinese shop was excellent flavour and delicious.

    Clean, well maintained customer area and very polite greeter. I have had food from here many times over the years and they have always been efficent and polite with really great food although the portions were on the small side. I would go as far to say their food was the best tasting, it would have been a very hungry belly and slight purse that would send you elsewhere. But it seems they have fallen in line with everyone else sadly. The effort they once made and quality simply was not there on this purchase the rice was long grain and tasteless not Jasmine as it used to be. The seasoning on their spare ribs which gave that distinctive taste, smell and welcoming red appearance to the meat has gone, the peking sauce is equal to thickened vinegar flavoured with cheap ketchup and a dash of something brown so to distract one to believing some effort was made in producing this disgusting slurry. The rest of the order was mediocre nothing terrible ....the point I'm making is that wonderful food they use to produce and the effort which was so apparent has simply disappeared. You will now receive the same old- over priced stuff that most Chinese styled takeaways spill out to the hard working public
