Duck spring rolls did not taste like duck but some weird tasting meat so I didn't eat them. My partner did and had a very bad tummy. Prawn toast was so greasy it was inedible. So sad as this was the best Chinese takeaway in South London. Pork balls were tough too.

The food was lovely, but I felt a bit sad for the fish in the small pond. Fish are a lot more sensitive than people realise, so it was sad to see them just left there static in a dark empty pond 24/7 with no enrichment. I know itβs probably just something thatβs been overlooked, but a couple of plants or hiding spots would make their little environment much healthier and worry animal-loving customers a lot less!

The best Chinese takeaway experience in South London. World Class Chef. I really enjoyed their Fried Veg. The Veg were fresh that you could smell the earth. Excellent customer service from Lenard. I come everyday now. Highly recommend them to all.

The food here wasn't very nice, special fried rice very hard and dry, noodles had a strange taste both koover special and chow mein, spare ribs too spicy. Crispy duck and chicken balls were the only two nice items. Koover was a fantastic place years ago, always busy and popular. However, the old management have gone and under new owners, so food isn't what it used to be. Wasn't able to eat any of the noodle dishes, rice and ribs.

Food is always good when I order from here. The shop is a bit dark and gloomy. They only take cash payments here, which is annoying.

Though I liked it but my friend does not l, may be his taste buds were not adjustable to this type of food

Sweet and sour chicken was extremely sweet and sickly... the service was polite but the food could improve

Not as good as it use to be, I bought take away meals from the original owners back in the 60's, when I left Thornton Heath I kept going back to order, things has gone downhill since then. One Star I'm being generous.
