On Friday, 28th November, my partner and I came to this lovely little restaurant on a whim. The owners were lovely and really friendly, which made for a good atmosphere. The food was really good. I had the lamb, and it melted in my mouth; my only minor criticism is that I wish it had been a little more spicy. My partner had the beef, and this was also "melt in your mouth" amazing. I highly recommend trying this place out if you haven't already.

This place has the best Malaysian food in south London. The food is fresh, delicious and service is impeccable. I would highly recommend. Reasonable price. Good vegetarian choice as well

Highly recommended – a solid 10 out of 10 and definitely worth a try. It’s a long-missed taste of Asia. The laksa is outstanding, the stir-fried ho fun is full of wok hei, and the Malaysian white coffee is excellent. All that, and the prices are very reasonable too.

Absolutely tasteless.. salt and pepper squid even lacking salt. No taste Seafood laksa should jst be called prawn laksa as that is all there is in it (5 prawns) Also tasteless.. like the worst laksa i have eaten to date. Unfortunate really as i was looking forward to it because of the reviews. Can only say they have bland/impaired tastebuds lol. But truthfully not worth it. I love food; tasty food and this was a far cry from that.Would not order again. Just a big disappointment.

Came in to eat as a group. Overall, a really nice meal and we all enjoyed it. Restaurant decor is a tiny bit dated but the food is what you come here for, and the environment is much better than the old location in whitgift imo. The food was priced ok. Drinks are on the higher side of your familiar with wing yip pricing. That being said, the portion sizes for dine food in are very generous and the taste is authentic and delicious. The roti are also very nice. Decent size, chewy and crispy with a great curry sauce dip. My personal favourite. The staff inside were friendly and chatty providing very good service and a nice dine in experience. They were also very accommodating as we came for dinner but they still offered to cook some of the lunch menu street food items if we wanted them. Overall, the group had a nice Malaysian inspired evening! Roti, satay, laksa, rendang, chicken curry, fried rice all went down well.

Great value, large portions and food made fresh. Authentic Malaysian food in Croydon. I’d recommend curry laksa and teh tarik, just like home. Friendly staff but cash only.

Authentic Malaysian canteen style food based inside the whitgift centre directly above the main entrance on the first floor. Decor was simple and reminded me of a Malaysian canteen. Friendly service and although food took a while (we were told there would be a bit of a wait as it was busy) the food was worth the wait. We ordered the curry laksa and the wat dan hor (fried flat rice noodles with seafood layered with a creamy egg gravy on top. Will definitely be back to order the other dishes.

We travelled over an hour to get to Uncle Lims because its that amazing. The trip was well worth it and we will be back again. We got the vegetable curry laksha to eat in and got the seafood nasi goreng, prawn rendang and seafood char kuey teow to take away. All the food was amazing. We loved the curry laksha and its some of the best laksha we have ever had. Each dish was flavorful, authentic Malaysian good food. We also had the cassava dessert which also had coconut in it and it was delicious and a good snack for the road home. Sarah was lovely and very attentive and made us feel very welcome.
