One of my favourite spots in the neighbourhood! This is a great spot for a comfort meal or to catch up with friends. I love the Shanghai dumplings and scallion pancakes.
Went here for my birthday and I can honestly say: don’t let appearances fool you. Lovely House Dim Sum isn’t some polished, posh, linen-napkin joint — it’s basically a takeaway with a few tables, laminated menus, and Deliveroo riders flying in and out. But wow, the food. This is the real deal: freshly made, unbelievably fluffy, comforting dim sum — the kind you dream about later. The prawn tempura was light, crisp, and perfect (see photo!), and a standout yam dish came slick with chilli oil, sesame, and coriander — smoky, sweet, addictive. Real sake too, served warm and generous. Kathy, our waitress (and probably the owner), was wonderful — friendly, knowledgeable, and her recommendations were spot on. Everything felt personal, homemade, and full of soul. Exceptional value for money. If you’re nearby, eat in. If you’re not — get on Deliveroo. Either way, this is one of London’s hidden food gems.
This is my second time visiting Lovely House Dim Sum Restaurant, and it never disappoints! The food is absolutely amazing – the shrimp dumplings and wontons are incredibly fresh and flavorful. The spring rolls are perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, especially when paired with their sweet chili sauce. I ordered the Singapore Style Fried Rice as main dish. It is unique and packed with flavors. The service is just as wonderful as the food. The owner is super friendly, thoughtful, they even gifted me some prawn crackers. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves delicious dim sum. Can’t wait to come back again!

I recently moved to London, and I had a sudden craving for Chinese cuisine. Since this restaurant had stood out in the neighbourhood with pretty good reviews, I gave it a try. The result? I was totally blown away not only by the deliciousness and authenticity of a variety of dishes but also by the amiability and conviviality of the hostess. Even though I dropped in pretty early in the evening on Tuesday, by the time I finished up the restaurant had already been packed with patrons. I'll definitely come back soon and try new dishes! 29th July, 2023 I tend to order my go-to dishes over and over again, but today I dared to try something new: Roast Pork Noodle Soup. It was so good that I emptied the entire bowl, in a nice breeze at outdoor seating.

Exceptional dim sum, they truly care about the food they make. The more rare dishes such as fried chicken and homemade spicy potatoes are brilliantly cooked and flavoured. Top tier and inexpensive. Just come here!
Small friendly neighbourhood Chinese restaurant. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but proved to be surprisingly good dim sum. Came to about £25 for two for lunch with one soft drink each.
