Utterly appalling. This place serves the kind of buffet food you’d expect at a bad office party—cheap, bland, and downright revolting. The lunch buffet was basically a mountain of rice with three sad “toppings” grudgingly slapped on like they were rationing flavour. The quality? Abysmal. I’ve had better meals from a petrol station sandwich shelf. Staff were as rude as the food was tasteless, and frankly, I’m amazed this place hasn’t gone under with so many far superior options around Liverpool Street. Do yourself a favour: steer clear.

Kung Food is a combining fast food convenience with a good level of authenticity and delicious flavors.Portion sizes at Kung Food are generous, meaning you'll definitely leave with a full belly and possibly some leftovers. The prices are very reasonable, considering the quality and portion size. Highly recommend!

We had amazing Chinese take out last night at Kung Food! We found this spot on Google Maps and decided to give it a try. We wanted to give a shout out to the young Cantonese cashier that helped us with our order! She was extremely nice, personable, and gave us amazing recommendations for what we should order. The portion sizes are generous. Credit cards are not accepted at the cash register (cash accepted). However, you can scan a QR code at the wall and order with credit card on their website for a 10% discount. We spend roughly 20-30 £ for 4 people, which is below 10 £ per person and we were quite full!

As a very experienced (50+ years old) member Chinese Takeaways, this is a bit of a find. Forget the “airs & graces”, this is a great takeaway. I’ve returned a couple of times and the food is nice, cooked in front of you and just want you need. Thanks Kung Foo, don’t change a thing.

Perfectly serviceable Chinese takeaway. Quantity is extremely generous, and the food is pretty good. Good in a pinch or for a fast lunch. There’s usually a queue, but it’s very quick service. They take cash - there’s an atm around the corner - or you can pay in advance on their website (but you get fewer choices that way).

My first try on the lunch box (rice + 3 toppings + spring rolls), although long queue but fast and food was nice too.

Stopped by for quick dinner take out. Ordered Chicken Chiw Mein/noodle and Tofu Salted Pepper Chili. The food was ok and price was rather cheap.

Quick. Freshly made. Tasty and very substantial portions. Worth walking round the corner for next time you're pondering Wasabi Bento. Ordered Ho Fan vegetable noodles, with black bean sauce.
