   I’ve lived up the road from New China House my entire life and it is by far the best Chinese I have and ever will have in my life. Everytime I have Chinese elsewhere I’m disappointed as it doesn’t taste the same. I grew up eating their food on special occasions as a kid and now do the same 20 years later. Fabulous establishment with such a kind and friendly family atmosphere. Truly the best ❤️

   New China House's rice dishes are the most delicious out of all the other places I've been to locally. I seem to be very sensitive to the quality of oil used at certain restaurants in general but I have never felt sick when eating here. Not once. So I don't understand how their food is 'oily' to some others. A lot of the reviews seem to be unnecessarily upset only because of how they felt about the delivery service and just added 'rude staff' and such in anger. The staff have always been nice to me when an order isn't up to par. Just don't shout or be passive-aggressive towards them. That's just common sense in society. Also keep in mind, that they don't normally use the delivery drivers when using Just Eat/Deliveroo. Most times, the staff members themselves would deliver the food to your door. Which makes sense when looking at the wait times. So if you're upset about the warmth of the food, just reheat it a bit. They run as a local business, and not really a food chain so it must be difficult having to wait for just-eat drivers only for them to get the delivery wrong and have customers shout at the restaurant. All in all, I've always loved and will always recommend their rice dishes but I do agree that sometimes their beef and house specials can be a little rushed at times.

   Worst Chinese takeaway ever, rude staff, disgusting food, bad service. After spending £45 and waiting 40 minutes after I ordered to be told my order was not ready it had to be chucked in the bin. Absolutely utter filth.

   Absolutely terrible service, ordered by phone at 11pm to arrive at 11.25 pm and was told my food had been given to a other customer because my noodles can’t stand for 15 minutes otherwise they are not fresh, then expected me to wait why they decided to cook my order, I would never ever use this Chinese again.

   Completely inedible disgusting food. Covered in oil and salt, tasteless. Not like any mock duck/chicken I’ve ever had and hope never to ever again!!! Rang the restaurant to ask for a refund of the dishes which were not at all as expected or described and the staff were very rude and unhelpful. Complete waste of £50 and a ruined evening. Avoid avoid avoid at all costs.

   Really pleased with sweet and sour chicken. (ordered via Just Eat). The quality of the chicken was excellent. It arrived a little bit late because of the bad weather, but they gave me a free prawn cracker which was super tasty. Highly recommended, I would order it again.

   First time using (via just eat) - loved their food. Arrived piping hot in good time, really good delicate flavours. S&s king prawn balls best I've had, juicy, plump and not crunchy! (A bit of banana flavour in batter but there's any getting away from that in my experience).
