A nice local cafe for homespun noodle and rice dishes. Low-key vibe and tasty food. Good value and getting a Pad Thai from here beats the Wetherspoons across the road every day of the week. x

Several times we went for lunch and we enjoyed the tasty and delicious meals cooked by Sally’s hands. Great attention for detail and very good service, definitely recommend it. City Noodle will indulge you with flavourful food.

Food was so delicious and the young man who served us was really nice, and attentive. The chilli oil is homemade and you can tell! So delicious, great value for money. The prawns are massive and taste very fresh. Definitely going to order from here again in the future.

Amazing food, every single time. My usual order is fried rice with king prawns Singapore style and salt and pepper prawns. I’ve recently discovered the udong Singapore noodles, again amazing, full of flavour and the king prawns are always juicy. I’m not sure why this place has low ratings… a lot of the times people are complaining about price or “rudeness of staff”. The price is good, and I think the staff “attitude” is just a cultural difference… some native Cantonese speakers come across as rude but it’s just down to not understanding their culture.

Very very very average. A lot of it tasted frozen then dumped in a fryer or reheated in the microwave. Won't be going back. Also pretty expensive for a small Chinese takeaway.

Always happy with our order from here. There is a lot of variety and the box meals are really good value. Special curry, any of the chow meins, and the duck and pork all good options. Only missing a star because no silken tofu dishes and could do with some music/radio so not just aircon humming sounds for atmosphere.

Really poor. It seems like every dish we had was frozen (cannot complain about the microwaving ability of the chef). The exception was the fried rice which was probably not frozen. That said, it was nonetheless one of the blandest fried rice dishes I have ever had.

First time trying the buffet and will not be returning. Although it is very affordable, I have had better food at other buffets for the same price. Very odd flavours, weird consistency of meats. Further no sneeze guards in restaurant and no label for dishes

Nice sweet and sour sauce. I only got about 5 pieces of prawns when I ordered sweet & sour prawns which was £8.80 as opposed to my friend who eats chicken & got a full container of sweet & sour chicken for £6.95. Nice fresh tasting sweet & sour sauce is all I can give. Will not be ordering from here any time soon
