If this is how you choose to run your business, I’m afraid it won’t help you stay open for long. I have never purchased from you or dined in your restaurant, and the main reason is that I am tired of your takeaway menus being pushed through my letterbox almost every day. I have to take time out of my day just to throw them away, which is frustrating and wasteful. Today, Thursday 18 September, things went even further, the person you’ve hired to deliver these menus was throwing them on the street, leaving litter all over Chesley Gardens. This is completely unacceptable. Under Section 87 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, it is an offence to drop litter in a public place, and businesses are expected to ensure that their marketing practices do not cause nuisance or environmental harm. You should reconsider your approach and respect the residents in this area by stopping these unsolicited menu drops. Not only are you wasting paper and money, but you are also causing annoyance to potential customers like myself. If I want to order food, I can easily search online like most people. Until this stops, I will continue to avoid purchasing from your business and will encourage others to do the same.

I ordered today, as usually for the past 10 years. Waited longer than usual. But the biggest surprise was when I opened a large (sic) portion of shredded beef with chili- the box only half full! Beef was mushy and soft instead of crunchy, tasted disgustingly and had a whiff of old pork and oil. We had to throw it away. We ordered and were charged for mini spring rolls: instead we got two large "pork& chicken" spring rolls. I used air quotes as there was one piece of chicken in each parcel. It wasn't even rolled but folded like crepe, dripping in oil. Inedible. Singapore fried rice was ok-ish: very salty. The best was when we calculated the items and they overcharged us £1.5 Never again

I enjoy the food that they provide, andn I go here often, I like that it is a family-owned business and very friendly and are very welcoming to their customers, the quality of their food is of the highest quality and tastes wonderful. I eat from here weekly, and the amount of food ×you get (see photographs), They also deliver which is very handy when you are not able to get there. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Chinese takeaway. The Lucky Star is still one of the best Chinese takeaways in London, the food is fantastic

Have been going to this Chinese take away for about a year but recently quality dipped massively, the chicken in our curries was over-processed and slimy, we couldn't eat it. The 'beef' for the crispy shredded beef (which they used make really well) was small, brittle tasteless strips covered in sweet and sour sauce. No spice at all, no taste other than sugar. Even the spring rolls were poor, you get better ones in iceland 12 for a pound. Won't be returning here unless they massively improve

Hi I ordered from here and it was not nice at all , the rice had no flavour what so ever and the ribs as I bit into it was rock hard and tough. I would not recommend. My daughter had to eat this and she is 7 months pregnant , we phoned them up and they said they wasn’t able to offer a refund and that if I ordered from there again I could get another meal but after this awful experience and the food I would definitely not be ordering from there again , after spending nearly £30 and the food was awful and the customer service.hopefully we don’t get I’ll from this food.

Got the vegetables rice noodles, special fried rice, spicy sea aubergine, chicken bun and har kau. I personally dont like chicken bun well definitely the char siu gonna be better. The har kau was super good. Look at those portions for GBP 4.80 though each of them. Crazy right! Definitely recommended!!

Ordered from them last week and food was amazing as usual! They also agreed to give us spring rolls instead of prawn crackers. Food just gets better and better. The roast duck with hoisin sauce is the best and their dumplings are amazing! Best Chinese in the local area.
