First time using Guans Chinese Takeaway, delivery was well before estimated time (they even called us prior to double check notes on our order) Flavoursome food. Well seasoned and great portion sizes at a reasonable price too. We ordered Roast pork with green peppers and black bean sauce, Guan’s house special fried rice, Singapore fried Vermicelli, Fried King prawns with salt & chilli. They gave us some complementary rice/prawn crackers. Found myself my new favourite Chinese take away, would definitely recommend!!!

spent £150, and waited hours, decided to support local business, and when the food come, was stone cold and shocking, I have three kids and their bedtime is 8 o’clock ordered at 5:30 the food didn’t come till 8:45, 45minutes past there bedtime me and my husband is fuming with the service and was continuously lied to about the status of the order if you were informed correctly about the time of the order, we could have just picked it up, but after being repetitively lied to we decided to wait and believe them! I recommend, never ordering from them !

We ordered takeaway which came pretty quickly but when we tucked into the food, the prawn crackers were stale, the chicken satays were pretty much raw and inedible and the seaweed also had no taste as the sugar had just been dumped on the top and not mixed in. Would not order again.

Food arrived promptly via Uber eats having paid delivery and service charge on top of food prices so this on a pricey side overall. Unfortunately the food did not satisfy our empty pockets or tummies. The shredded chilli beef was tasty but only filled a third of the container, if that (top left). Not happy having paid £5.80. The bbq ribs (top right container) looked as though it was boiled and left to sit in a puddle of its own juices with no sauce, so this was inedible. Again not happy for £5.90. The salt and chilli squid was not fragrant and the sweet and sour chicken was just ok. The sesame prawn toast was slightly salty and we received 6 pieces as opposed to 8 mentioned on Uber. This was my first and final order with Guans. Total rip off

OMG..... HAD TO CHANGE MY PERVIOUS REVIEW FROM 5 ☆ TO 1☆! Just seen its under new ownership. Shame the food here was delicious before. Ribs? well they called them ribs, but more like bits of bone now( see before and after pictures below). Prawn toast dry and everything seemed a little over cooked. Had spicy lamb main, which is described as Crispy on the surface and buttery tender inside! Well more like boiled and chewy, didn't even really look like lamb. Even the chow mein wasn't good. Really disappointed with the whole thing.................... PERVIOUS REVIEW....... Great fresh food and quick delivery. Starters were delicious (spring rolls & prawn toast) but i must say there Salt & chilli ribs were amazing!! Best ribs I've ever had from a Chinese take away, meat literally fell off the bone! Main was egg fried rice which was fresh and light and not greasy with the chef's special Dancing Dragon which contain chicken, king prawns and vegetables all of which was fresh and delicious topped of with a good curry sauce. Definitely recomme

Delisious food for a really good price. The decor of the restaurant is not the most impressive one, but the food quality and the kind service make the visit the most pleasant experience.
