   Lauren is a gem! She coloured and cut my hair beautifully yesterday, I'm so pleased with the results. She really listens to what you'd like, advises with her expertise and then does exactly what you decide together. It's such a nice experience in the salon and I always leave feeling really treated.    Unfortunately I have to post a bad review.. Have had extensions on a couple of occasions and then tend to take them out and rest my hair for a few months before getting them put back in. Went in yesterday and had a colour put on and extensions put back in, however, there were huge gaps all over my head and I was told my hair had grown so thick I would need more tapes. ( The colour was fine, very happy with that) My hair is baby fine anyway and certainly not thick, two packs of tapes were enough. Maddie explained that because of the gaps you could see the extensions and she would need to 'trim' my hair to match. Unfortunately, she cut 6" off the extensions and made them the same length as my own hair.. It was so thick on the end it looked like I was wearing a badly made wig. When I got home I looked in the mirror and could feel all the gaps.. I was that upset I removed the extensions myself, as they were pointless anyway. When removed, there was only a handful of tapes, when I contacted the salon I was told they had used all the tapes they had ( obviously they have lost them while storing them) I am left with a handful of useless 8" extensions, Have contacted the salon, but no response.. Certainly won't return.

   Wow had a complete restyle and I love it,the lovely young girl think her name was Maddie showed me how to curl my hair because I'm useless lol,you get a loyalty card when it's full you get given a free product,I will be going back and I can highly recommend going,x

   Awful service today; wasted my time and very rude owner. Given the number of great salons in marple and the fact that it was the owner I spoke to, it’s astonishing that business people still talk to their customers, who keep them in business, in this way. I called in the morning to be booked in, was advised that it looked fully booked but that reception needed to speak to beautician and they’d call me back. (I needed an app today because last minute holiday booked) Waited - No call back. Appointment became available online. Took it. Awful bikini wax, that now needs redoing, today. Beautician did a great job last time, so can only think was rushed, with inadequate time available which isn’t her fault. On trying to explain this to the owner, I had to endure on repeat and on loud volume, a detailed account of their booking systems ad nauseam. That wasn’t the issue. I understood diary looked booked… issue was I was waiting for a call back and the wax was very poor. She ended with ‘I’m going now to be with customers who are happy to be in the works’ Pretty poor show The Works. Owner- you need to pause and listen to your customer - it’s part of your job to do that - get onto some customer care courses if you can’t learn how to do it. I’ll be spending my money - for hair and waxing - elsewhere. Starting today, as it has to be redone. Such a waste of time.

   My first visit to the salon and definitely won't be my last. Warm and friendly welcome. The team are so lovely and vibrant that you instantly feel uplifted. All of that and the perfect keratin treatment ensured I left feeling like amazing ... would highly recommend.
