Booked my appointment for 10am, I arrived it 09:50 to see the shutters down. I waited until after 10am and still the shutters didn't open and my appointment didn't go ahead. I had no communication that the appointment wasn't going ahead, terrible service. Do not recommend. I booked through treatwell but chose not to pre pay thankfully.
I would give it zero stars if I could. I booked my eyelash appointment and rang the week before to confirm it. Turned up to a closed shop with the shutters down and no answer when I rang the mobile. I messaged several times with no reply. They took my money as I prepaid on the Treatwell app and I haven’t had it back. Utter lack of professionalism. Honestly an absolute joke.
Do not use this salon. Made an appointment, turned up to a closed shop. No useful explanation. When I eventually got hold of someone, "they only open Friday amd Saturday at the moment", but booked me in for a Thursday only the week before. Had to leave a star as it won't allow zero stars.
Well can't give them any stars as they were closed when I arrived for my 10.30am appointment. So much for them being open 7days a week. Needless to say I won't bother trying them again.
Fantastic little salon that I stumbled upon! I came here originally to get my eyebrows threaded and the lady who did them was so meticulous and precise I was really impressed. She really took the time to make sure they looked even and honestly it's the best they've ever looked! So I came back and had a paraffin wax treatment and gel nails, another lady did my nails but again she was very focused on ensuring they were perfect and all for a very good price. Such a lovely family who own the business, I'll definitely be back and recommend it to all my friends. Thank you!
Staff are really lovely, I was given a drink, I had my hair washed in the massage chair which was very relaxing. We discussed what I wanted done and the stylist shaved the right hand side, added layers and trimmed the rest or my hair. I love it so much! Never felt like myself until now! Thanks so much to all!
I love and appreciate the upmost respect always received at ‘J&H Cosmetics Beauty and Hair’ salon. The lady herself who owns the salon and all her staff insure that you feel comfortable at all times from the moment you arrive throughout the duration of your appointment, offering tea or coffee on arrival. I’ve been many times for my full face threading/ waxing as this salon is the only one I trust to get my eyebrows done from, as I’m very particular and always go to the same person once I’ve found the right one! I recently had my balayage done with roots coloured, wash, cut and blow-dried they even curled my whole hair for an amazingly reasonable price. When I went home I felt the colour was just slightly light, so kindly they saw me the very next day to darken it slightly even tho I had changed my mind, the salon was more then happy to provide the customer care and toned the colour down for me without any problems and completely free. I love my hair and colour it’s perfect just the way I pictured it! Honestly this is by far the best salon and cosmetics I will only ever need in my life! With parking at the back of the salon and easy access at the front it’s the perfect location for anyone to find. The price range is too cheap for the 100% customer care and professionalism! Recommend this salon to anyone! Squeaky Clean, comfy, fantastic 5* service, friendly, professional, well educated and have a lot of experience in what they offer and very reasonable on prices! Xx
This salon is a top 5 star salon with the most professional staff who have many years of experience combined. Everyone is courteous. The salon is kept clinically clean just like a hospital. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a customer I feel like royalty when I am in. The staff cannot do enough for you.
