   I had the revitalising face and body ritual and I cannot recommend this enough! It is well worth price tag as you are really pampered. The salon was really clean and welcoming and the spa room was calm and relaxing. Elizabeth was fantastic and so welcoming and friendly. I will be booking this as a regular treat for myself

   Really disappointed. Booked in for a callus peel and pedicure. Though the lady doing the treatment was absolutely lovely and we chatted easily, the treatment itself wasn’t great. She admitted she’d never done a callus peel before, and when she was scrubbing my feet she over scrubbed the soft sensitive part of my foot so it bled slightly and it hurts when I wear socks. A few hours have passed now and both feet are dry and flakey - not moisturised at all. They did discount my treatment by £10 by way of apology which I appreciated but to be honest I would have rather had a good quality treatment and paid full price.

   What a lovely place! This is a new salon in the centre of Urmston and from start to finish it was a great experience. The treatment rooms are very nice and the whole place is immaculately decorated. I've got problems with my back so went for a deep tissue massage. The lady I saw - Lisa - was really friendly and did a great job, and a few days after my visit my back feels tons better. I'm sure I'll be going back, and my wife has also started thinking of things she'd like to have done herself, so I think The Retreat has won two new customers here.

   My other half got me a mum-to-be massage here for my birthday and it was just wonderful. Calming lighting and music, gorgeous smelling oils and amazing all over body massage that relaxed me for hours. The facial was great as well - lots scrubs and lotions and my skin felt so fresh and soft afterwards. I can be a bit sensitive to some creams but not so much as a blemish this time. The whole 90 mins was just pure luxury.
