Yasmin is excellent. Her work is quick, precise and she is lovely and calming presence during the treatment. Plus she is a Britney fan so A+++. Would absolutely reccomend having electrolysis with Yasmin for anyone looking to get it done : )
I’m currently on my third laser session on my intimate area and I’m already seeing such great results. I’m getting hardly any regrowth and didn’t even need to shave between the second and third session! I suffer a lot with ingrown hairs, but these have also calmed down so much after getting laser, which I’m thrilled about. Sam works with me during the session to keep pain as minimal as possible whilst still doing it on a high enough setting to see fast results.
Went to Sam for waxing, she was absolutely brilliant, first time going to the Beauty Guru and was made to feel totally at ease, despite originally being nervous! Everything was explained beforehand and Sam was friendly and professional throughout, making sure to check in during the treatment. Sam also let me know whether or not other treatments I asked about would be suitable for me. A lot of other salons try to upsell regardless of suitability and I liked that Sam didn’t do that. After booking, you are asked if there are any accommodations you need which I think is brilliant. The Beauty Guru is also such an inclusive environment which is so nice. Will definitely be back!
I've been to two other wax technicians previously; one I'd never go back to and the other was OK, but the salon was very busy so you felt a bit 'managed'. Sam is amazing. From the moment she introduced herself I felt at ease. She explained everything that was going to happen as she went. The treatment doesn't hurt (imo), but I'm a bit of a flincher and she was checking in to make sure I was OK throughout. The results were perfect and I feel new job ready for Monday morning. I will absolutely be going back. All the stars!
Every time I come to the Beauty Gurus, I always leave feeling 100 times better! Lesley is amazing! So welcoming and knows her stuff. I had my brows laminated for the first time and Lesley made sure they were perfect and I was happy with every step of the process. I had my nails done again after the last set lasted 5 WEEKS! My nails feel strong and look incredible every time! My go to for all things beauty!
Excellent place to go to for all your beauty needs. Sam is the best. Sam is very professional and you can have a good chat about alsorts and customer service 10 out 10 I would highly recommend Sam.
I have been coming to The Beauty Guru for a month now and absolutely love it! Lesley does my nails and eyebrows and has made me feel brand new! She talked through everything with me beforehand so I was so confident and knew I was in good hands!

I rang up to see if they could see me for my nails to be removed and replaced and that I could get there in the next 10 mins the lady AGREED to see me. I walked over, there was scaffolding so was very hard to see where it was. I called up, the lady was confused as the first women didn't book me down. So I was told to wait in the waiting room I was there for 15mins not knowing if I came to the right bit as its office blocks. I was greeted by a young sweet apprentice that was confused, she then made me wait whilst she told someone I'd spoken to already rhat I was there. Whilst taking my nails off she said I don't think I'd get charged for the removal of my nails.. which would of been proper considering the wait. The woman finally came and took my nails off I was under the impression I was getting a new set on like I'd asked for, but without even filing my nails she charged me £20 for a job half done, and said her other clients here. It took 2hrs of waiting and getting them removed, wish I got a bottle of £3accitone instead. I feel robbed what a waste of time and money to be treated so rubbish. I obviously won't be going again first and last.
