   I used the Fresha app to book a nail appointment which was confirmed via email. Unfortunately the beauty therapist didn’t turn up to the appointment. I rang the manager of the salon who seemed to be aware of my appointment however the beauty therapist later text to say that she didn’t get a notification of the booking. Possibly a simple communication issue but I would ring to confirm any bookings.

   I had an eyebrow tint today by Emma. It's the best eyebrow tint I've had, Emma's done such a good job of them, they're perfect. She took her time, explained everything, is very professional and is such a lovely warm friendly person. Would definitely recommend and I will be returning.

   I had my first visit with Stef for a Botox facial. She was very professional, made me feel comfortable and relaxed talking throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend. The Sanctuary is a lovely salon, calm relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Stef

   I had my hair coloured, cut and styled by Lydia. Lydia really is a lovely girl and promptly booked me in for a colour correction last minute a few week ago. My hair was very dark and had dark bands so I asked Lydia if she can help take out the dark miss match colours and take me an all over natural brunette. First apt Lydia lifted out my hair by bleaching this all over then toned it down with a toner and added a colour all over. I left the salon with yellow and orange hair that day which horrified me. I then went in again the very next day having to take unpaid leave at work for it still to be orange patchy and dry after the second appointment. I paid £167 for this treatment and wasn't happy with the outcome at all i had tears in my eyes whilst she was blowing my hair. When you go to a hair salon you want to come out feeling fabulous and happy which wasn't the case at all. I went to another salon and asked for advice they advised the colour (natural brunette) I had asked for was very achievable and they would do this for me. I went home messaged Lydia to advise I was upset and unhappy and i had no response for 24 hours although she had read my message. I then had to call another salon to book me in. If lydia would of responded which she seen my message advising to come back in to sort my hair i would so she left me no choice to sort out my hair (it was that bad i was anxious and embarrassed to leave the salon. During the first apt i think Lydia was rushing as it was 8:40 by the time i left the salon and during the second appointment the hair salon was full. I asked Lydia for a partial refund for inconvenience of having to go back to the salon (2 hour drive) taking an unpaid leave at work and also having to go to another salon who has done my hair the way i wanted and its gorgeous (all they did was put a gloss on) she refused the partial refund then changed her mind as I advised I will be writing a bad review. I have tried to arrange a meeting and refund with lydia but she is ignoring messages. I have not once been abusive or unkind. I will never step foot in the salon again. AVOID AVOID

   I really love the salon since it became the Sanctuary. It’s beautiful and peaceful. The staff are brilliant, so welcoming and professional. I felt so relaxed there and loved the little touches like the drink and snacks you are offered. Had my nails done by Katie and love them. They lasted for weeks! I think the owner Kim is doing a fantastic job with the salon and would recommend to everyone! I will definitely be back.
