   Had my hair styled a few times now at hair base and iv been extremely satisfied with my experiences. Iv had my colour with Ceri who worked her maic to get the most perfect blonde. Had a restyle cut with abby and it turned out just as I wanted it . Would definitely recommend

   styledwithlorell does not know what she’s doing. Makes false promises on what the hair will turn out like and ends up being a complete diff colour. Uses curly hair as an excuse for the colour not turning out what the client has asked for. Is not understanding at all. She has ruined my friends hair. Prices do not reflect the standard of work. Would not recommend to anyone with dark hair as she does not know how to deal with it. Go elsewhere. unacceptable and it’s not nice as hair is a big thing for everyone and it’s not nice when someone ruins it and ruins the texture of your hair leaving it dry and straw as well as giving u ginger blondish greenish hair instead of a chocolate brown balyage.

   Very disappointed! Came and got my hair done at this salon by @styledwithlorell. Specifically asked for a brown balayage and chose a deep brown colour. I made it very clear I did not want ginger hair and was reassured it would be a deep brown and I ended up walking out with horrible ginger hair that left like straw! I had an event the next day and had to resort to box dye! Messaged the hairstylist politely on Instagram expressing my concerns and asked if she could be fair and offer a small refund as paying £150 for ginger hair is ridiculous, nothing like the reference pictures I showed! I was in complete shock and walked out traumatised not being able to voice my concerns straight away. Over messages she was not fair and not willing to come to a fair outcome for the both of us. @styledbylorell , after going back and forth trying to explain paying £150 is unjust she has now completely ignored my messages after she claims she can only offer to tone it however I didn’t have time and didn’t trust her to work with my hair again as she used my curly hair as an excuse as to why it came out so light.

   I will be honest. I didn’t see a difference in the colour of my hair so I asked for more dye to be put in so the stylist did put more dye in. I was later told it was semi permanent. I thought if you paying that much you would have lasting results. I have never dyed by hair and only asked if they can dye it didn’t question if it was semi permanent or not as I thought the salon would only do a professional job. Went back again to trim my hair a week later as I felt it wasn’t straight and paid extra for a dry cut which is understandable because I had more cut off. But what bothers me is that after all that time and money spent the colour has faded in a couple of weeks. They are a friendly bunch but im out of pocket with my natural hair colour back. I had the dye put in on 4th July. Don’t recommend it. I was looking forward to my post lockdown haircut but this has really put me off.

   Highly Recommend! Kirsty always does my hair, I have struggled to find someone who gets it just right, and Kirsty does every time. I don't even tell her what I want she just does it perfectly. Cup of tea and sometimes cake if its a birthday! Great service all round.
