I have been coming to the salon since it opened firstly Zoe cut my hair then when she went away Naz started to cut my hair I can honestly say never had a bad experience here . Always polite and professional . Eyebrows and threading is a lot cheaper than anywhere I have been and I have always come away happy with the service . I can't believe some of the bad reviews as I have never experienced anything but good vibes .

Terrible Experience – Rude and Unprofessional Service I had an extremely disappointing experience at this salon. I enquired about getting both my roots done and highlights, but the Eastern European hairdresser was incredibly rude and dismissive. She barely looked at me and refused to give me an estimate, despite my repeated requests for her to assess my hair. Instead, she told me that if I wanted the service, she could start and give me the price as we went along—even though prices were clearly displayed outside. Reluctantly, I decided to proceed with just a root touch-up. As she was applying the dye, a large blob fell onto my cheek. When I instinctively wiped it off, she abruptly shouted at me not to do so. I explained that she had dropped dye on my face and that I wasn’t going to leave it there, but instead of acknowledging her mistake, she outright denied it ever happened. When I questioned her, she rudely responded that if there had been a blob, she would have cleaned it—so I told her to do exactly that next time! By the time she finished, my forehead and parts of my face were covered in dye. The other hairdresser, clearly embarrassed by her colleague’s behaviour, stepped in to clean my face on her behalf. I genuinely don’t understand how a reputable business can employ someone so lacking in basic manners and professionalism. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had, and I will not be returning. Avoid this place if you expect courtesy and competence from your hairdresser.

I have just been down today and had a cut and blow, I wanted to keep length at the front of my hair and for it to go up shorter at the back. After the wash and cut, she dried it (didn’t notice any heat defence applied) she shown me but I asked for it to be much shorter at the back so she cut some more however it’s not what I had expected at all. Now I have come home to notice how uneven and unblended it is. I am now trying to find another salon who can fix this before I go away on Tuesday. I can’t get over how bad this cut actually is. Will not be returning.

I went in to the salon today after ringing for a appointment and was told no appointment needed just call in which I thought was grate ! As it’s so hard to get a appointment anywhere. When I arrived they where all busy but smiled and I didn’t wait long the lady who done my hair was fantastic couldn’t recommend her enough the price was good as well also had my eyebrows thread and tinted by another lady who was also lovely all for £36 wow !! Thank you lady’s for a lovely experience will definitely be back

I visited MOOD hair salon today in Middleton. I asked if it was a booking system or if it was a walk in system too. The lady confirmed You can do both which I thought was fantastic. I asked for a wash and curly blow. The lady said ‘Yeah yeah come on in we can do that’ I had my hair washed by a lovely lady who massaged my head leaving me stress fee. Thinking I’ll definitely come here again. I was then walked over to the chair to have my hair Curly blow dried. As I thought. The lady who washed my hair started drying my hair with the hairdryer and running her fingers through it. Not combed while wet to get all the knots out. I then had a different lady who was talkative and was lovely but I then had my hair brushed by her and meaning (brushed) the brush was wracking my head you know as if you’re brushing a dolls hair as a kid. just yanking it from top to bottom. Hair sore too so I had tears strolling down my cheeks. I honestly Felt as if she was self taught or unqualified or maybe trained in a different way to many other salons I have visited. It really is a shame because I wanted to enjoy my experience. They have a few skills they can brush up on to better themselves as a business. Maybe using a comb while it’s wet to get all the knots out first going from bottom to top. and blow dry in sections with a round brush. I asked for a curly Blow but she said she doesn’t do these but will dry it first then proceed to curl it with straighteners. It did look lovely when it was done but 10 minutes later my hair was straight and frizzy as if I’ve just left it like I do at home and I have naturally curly hair so that’s saying a lot haha. I just feel like everyone has got to start from somewhere but the staff need to make it known they are in training. Or keep up with refresher courses to keep their skills up to date. I feel like I will return to give it 1 more chance and maybe have a cut to determine if it was just a one off and after that see if I would return. At least I’ve had my hair washed now saves me a job but as for the style I’m going to need to sort it before I go out for a meal. I paid £18 one thing I can say is the prices are extremely reasonable. But service shouldn’t reflect on price.

Visited today for a wash and hair cut with some layers cut in. The shop was busy and the staff are extremely hard working. They did a great job and I am happy with the end result. This shop is very good value for money and I would definitely recommend. I will be using again.
