I’ve been coming to Brandon May every month for more than 5 years. I love all the girls, I think everyone has done my hair at least once. Everyone is talented, takes a lot of care, really listens to what I’m asking for. Feels like home! Salon is gorgeous, products are amazing. If you’re reading this get your hair done here.
I had a balayage and haircut with Mia yesterday, and I can honestly say it’s the best balayage I’ve ever had! The blending is absolutely flawless, and she was so attentive to what I wanted. My hair turned out exactly as I envisioned—low-maintenance with the perfect not-too-cool blonde. The cut is just as amazing, giving me back the short, shaggy layers I love with care and precision. I couldn’t be happier with the result! I’ll definitely be returning to Mia and recommending her to everyone I know.
I absolutely love this salon! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. Sonya and her team always do an incredible job—they listen to what I want. The space is clean and relaxing, and the whole team is so friendly. I left feeling amazing and confident. I can’t recommend this place enough! I have been coming here since November 2019 and I still feel the same!
Great at doing curly hair. I genuinely had bad haircuts for years in the area because people pretend to know what they are doing. But going to see Sonia or Rachel was different. There skill is unmatched. Worth the money every time.
Writing this review has been on my to-do list for approximately 5 years but I really don’t feel I can put into words how much I love Rachel and Brandon May. I used to have serious hair trust issues and rarely went to the same hairdresser twice. Rachel is now well and truly stuck with me forever! She is so patient, has excellent attention to detail and isn’t afraid to give her honest opinion when she needs to. She really spends the time to understand your hair, learns what you like and remembers what does and doesn’t work. She doesn’t judge and her skill with foiliage/ balayage is incredible- seamless blondes that grows out effortlessly. I honestly can’t say enough good things about her. Thanks to Rachel I had the wedding hair of my dreams- the longest I’ve ever managed to grow it and a carefully curated blonde we planned probably 18 months in advance. She also somehow managed to fit my husband in for an emergency haircut the week before our wedding- he’d gone to the barber to trim his shoulder length hair and it ended up so wonky. I still to this day have no idea how she ensured it was symmetrical whilst still keeping the length. She truly saved our wedding! The salon itself is gorgeous- feels luxurious whilst still such a chill welcoming environment. The whole team works so well together. It’s nice as everyone seems to get to know you and over time I’ve seen how they support their colleagues from apprentice into skilled hairdresser. I think you’d be in good hands with any one of the team. If you’re after great chat, good vibes and hair you love this is the salon for you. Thanks again ❤️
Rachel cut my hair from long to short and I have never had so many compliments on my hair. It is so obvious that Rachel is a hugely knowledgeable and talented stylist. I used to go the hairdresser twice a year now I am happy to go every 6 weeks, it is a joy to go Brandon May.
Went in in 2021 to have a full head bleach on top of old ballayage done, and Hannah did an incredible job and gave me the most beautiful split dyed pink and blue hair! I came back today and Liam did the most phenomenal job blending my dark natural colour with my bleached hair so it can grow out gracefully, and picked a stunning purple to change my hair to. Couldn't recommend these guys more!
Sonya and her team at Brandon May are amazing. They go above & beyond when it comes to hairdressing services, the salon is professional but incredibly friendly and attentive, they always listen to the customers needs and advise appropriately. As a customer of 7+ years I couldn’t be happier and they know how to keep my hair and colour in amazing condition.

I’ve been going to Brandon May for just over a year now and I will never go anywhere else. Both Hannah and Taz have worked their magic on my hair and I always feel so happy when I leave. The whole team understand hair so well. I never really know exactly what I want and find it very hard to explain but they always take so much time and care to make sure I’m happy.
