   Terrible haircut for an UNREASONABLE price. The haircut was way too short and looked nothing like the picture even though I showed them and told them exactly how I wanted it. Very disappointed with the result. Would not recommend!

   Been going to ChriSalon for 10 years now. Big thanks to Ian and the girls who helped out with my first perm! Had a wonderful experience from consultation to the actual appointment. Took about 6 hours but was absolutely worth the wait as they’ve transformed my straight hair to type 3A curls, which is exactly what I asked for. If you are going for a perm make sure you know how to care for it after as it makes a difference.

   I had my hair bleached and dyed here and absolutely love the result. The hairstylist, Ian, did an amazing job, she listened to what I wanted, explained everything clearly, and paid attention to all the little details. It was such a lovely experience, and my new colour looks great both indoors and outdoors. Highly recommend.

   I am absolutely appalled by the haircut I received at your salon. I made it very clear from the beginning that I needed to keep my hair long enough to tie it up for work. I specifically asked for a cut that sits between the neck and shoulders — a practical length that would allow me to tie my hair. I even explained that I currently have a bald patch due to alopecia, and that this haircut wasn’t by choice, but out of necessity. What did I get instead? The crown of my head — the most important area — was carelessly chopped off at a diagonal angle. Who cuts hair like that when the client explicitly says they need to tie it up? A straight, even line is common sense in this situation, but instead I received an uneven, jagged cut that is completely unworkable. My hair doesn’t tie up, it doesn’t fall properly, and it looks like it was done by someone with zero professional training. And yet, I was still charged £52 for this disaster. Not a partial refund, not a proper apology — just empty “I’m sorry”s on repeat. Honestly, this whole experience felt like I handed my hair over to an amateur, not a trained stylist. I have curly hair, and because of the nature of my job, I have to keep it tied. Thanks to this careless cut, I might even face consequences at work. I am beyond frustrated and upset. This wasn’t just a bad haircut — it was a complete disregard for everything I explained beforehand. I would never recommend this place to anyone. In fact, I’ll make a point of telling people to stay far away. I wouldn’t even walk past your salon again, let alone step inside. This experience was an utter joke — except I paid for it.

   A warm welcome when I walked in without reservation. Roy is an experienced barber and he knew how to treat hair well. He also adviced and provided adjustable cutting to fit your requirement and face shape. If you speak Cantonese, then it is the best place to have hair cut without language barrier. You need not to be worried!

   I arrived early to my appointment and was seen to straight away .The staff was very polite and welcoming. Chris highlighted my hair , which he did an excellent job (which looks amazing). I told him the colour and he knew exactly what to do, very knowledgeable and informative. Excellent high standards and very efficient will definitely be returning and recommending

He provided helpful guidance on how to maintain my perm and steps in order to get my hair to how I like it, thanks Kenny. All my friends prefer my hair now, so I recommend coming here to get your hair permed.

   Highly recommend this salon! I came in at 4pm on a Sunday evening hoping to get a much needed haircut and the team managed to fit me in. Ray sat me down and was so welcoming and friendly. He asked what I wanted to do with my hair. My hair is super frizzy and I’ve had a lot of hair thinning over the years which I feel super self conscious about. He advised me that layers would give some body to my hair and I wouldn’t have to cut off too much of the ends - which I was delighted about as I didn’t want to cut my hair too short. I proceeded to get my hair washed by a lovely lady who was really caring and made sure that the temperature of the water was just right. She even gave me an amazing head massage! I sat back down and Ray sectioned my hair and showed me how much he would take off. He cut off a bit and asked if I was okay with it. He added in some round layers to my hair which I really wanted and fixed up my failed attempt at curtain bangs. Ray took his time and made sure everything was perfect! He blow dried my hair and even added rollers for some extra volume. I absolutely love the end result. Thanks so much for your time and patience with me! I paid £40 for a wash, cut and blow dry - which is such an incredible price for all the effort and hard work Ray put in. It’s a shame I don’t live in Manchester but I’m tempted to come up every 3 months to get a trim! Thanks Ray and the team.
