   Such incredibly friendly staff and exceptional hairdressing talent. Had a lovely session with Rob the owner, we had a really productive chat which lead to an amazing haircut that perfectly matched what I was struggling to articulate but was trapped in my mind’s eye. Rob was skilful charming and had a lovely time. Loads of drinks on offer and the staff were very attentive even at their busiest part of the day. Will definitely be coming back!

   The atmosphere of the salon is so inclusive and caring, you instantly feel comfortable the moment you walk in. I had my haircut done by Bronia, and she was absolutely amazing. She did exactly what I asked for, if not better, and kept checking in with me throughout to make sure I was happy with every step. On top of that, she made the whole experience so fun and enjoyable. I’m definitely coming back:)

   My experience at RNCQ was absolutely amazing! Loved the vibes and whole decoration of the place and I was made to feel so welcomed and at ease (which was so important for me as someone who gets nervous about hair treatments). Kyle did my hair and was so friendly and attentive throughout, he created the exactly balayage hair look I was going for and I came out feeling so so confident, he completely transformed my hair. I also loved the fact that he kept checking in on me whilst he was applying the treatment to see if it was ok, it's those little details that make all the difference. I've attached the before and after of my hair I absolutely love it.

   Brilliant hairdressers. Every member of staff is warm and welcoming. Drinks from a menu are offered as part of the haircut too, which is such a special touch. Kerstin is amazing with my long, curly hair, and is great to chat to. If you’re looking for a curly cut DONE PROPERLY, this place is worth a go. Will be back ❤️

   I had a cut & finish appointment today with Kayley, and I couldn’t be happier! My hair was a hot mess from growing out a buzz cut and even though I didn’t really know what I wanted she took so much time discussing different options beforehand and how I would style them. Even through the whole process she was amazing at discussing different ways of styling my hair which I have no experience with and made sure I left the salon feeling confident achieving the styles at home with the products I have! I love my new hair so much and I cannot wait to return, such a lovely salon and I had an amazing experience.

   I’ve been coming to RCNQ for a few years now and can’t recommend it enough! I started with Rob for a cut/bleach and toner, I explained to him on my first visit that I’ve had many a bad haircut and get really anxious when I go to a new salon. Rob went above and beyond to make me feel less anxious, talking me through everything and double checking every step of the way. He’s an incredible stylist and I love my appointments, he’s lovely to chat to and he’s always got Britney/Taylor playing. We always have a laugh! More recently I’ve been having Lily bleach and toner my hair and Rob doing the cut. Rob was training Lily when I started coming to RCNQ and she always assisted with my bleach and toner. I absolutely love appointments with Lily, we have a good chat and she’s amazing at what she does. I always leave with a beautiful colour, she’s a wizard with the toner combinations! I can ask her for any shade and she’ll get the job done. Basically, I’ve never loved a salon more. The space itself is beautifully decorated too, Rob does it all himself! I also love how inclusive the salon is, they’re moving forward unlike a lot of salons, making sure everyone feels welcome and catering for all different hair types.

   I go to Poppy every 6 weeks mainly for a touch up on my roots but we always end up doing something fun and unique with my hair. Poppy always listens to what I want and I have never come out of the salon disappointed by her work, she’s always up for a good chat and makes the experience enjoyable every time :) Poppy makes you feel confident with big changes in your hair, she is very encouraging but also honest about what she thinks will suit you. I always look forward to having my hair done with her and would definitely recommend!!!

   Went to RCNQ this morning for a haircut with Rob. I arrived 5 minutes early and found the store staff in the middle of a 'photoshoot' - possibly for social media. Rob apologised and sat me down as soon as it was finished. Rob sat me down and asked what I wanted whilst clearing his chair and table of clutter - all whilst I attempted to tell him what I wanted with my hair. Felt like he didn't listen at all and was more concerned with cleaning his mess. This is totally opposite than what he claims to offer you on his website 'we will discuss styles, all things will be covered here'. I asked for a little trim, long layers and a fringe that feathered into my hair so it wasn't too blunt. I also showed him pictures of how I wanted my fringe. I asked him for advice for the fringe length and he didn't seem bothered, saying 'whatever you want really'. So no help there! Had my hair washed then he began cutting my hair. Cut it all wet, even my fringe. Whilst cutting there was no conversation, felt really awkward. He then styled the length beautifully, using a curling tong but just blow dried my fringe. On first appearance of my fringe it looked very 'mushroomy' and not at all what I had asked for. He didn't even check that it was all okay when once dried and didn't even show me the back of my hair, just sent me to pay! I didn't mention anything as I felt like I had been pushed away from the chair as quick as he could and I didn't have a real check of my hair. I paid and left. On getting home and checking my hair I am absolutely mortified! The fringe is absolutely terrible! Loads of short bits where it should be longer, blunt chunks missing, very blunt - just terrible!! It was definitely NOT what I had asked for at all, but then again he was more bothered about tidying his mess and keeping an eye on his 4 month old husky puppy that he brings to work! I am just so glad I can clip it back and let it grow out! Will never ever recommend or return. I have also just read reviews on here and have found lots of bad reviews for Rob! Please read before booking with him!!! I wish I had done! Edit: I have added photos to show the horrific fringe! Circled bit where it is shorter than the rest!! And as you can see it is so blunt and doesn't flow into the rest of my hair! I have read Rob's response to my initial review: No one actually mentioned there was a photoshoot, another customer said it whilst she sat next to me whilst I waited! Rob did not explain why his desk was a mess, though he did apologise for the wait. As with the cut not being to how I wanted and showed him due to him using a Razor rather than scissors - Rob should have mentioned that the style I was looking for and had asked for was not achievable due to him using a razor and not scissors!! This should have been highlighted however it wasn't and instead he has given me the worst fringe cut I have ever had! Had he mentioned that he could not cut my fringe to the style I wanted due to him using a razor I would not have had it cut. Instead he knowingly cut my fringe to a style I did not ask for or wanted! Absolutely shocking customer service!
