    Wish I could recommend Sophie at Pure Essence more than just 5 stars, times that by a million! Sophie was my hairdresser for many years until I moved to London for work. After 10 years I finally returned, not only did my visit feel like a reconnection of old friends but I walked out with a cut and colour that made me feel the best I have felt in years! Sophie remembered my personal taste and even my curl pattern. Pulling dark brown hair to blonde in 1 sitting! Miracle worker. Do yourself a favor, trust Sophie and her team to make you feel like a million bucks ♥️

    Got my hair balayaged, cut and had creative colour here by Sophie, and I genuinely cannot emphasise enough how lovely the results are. 1000/10. Aside from the general vibes being good, the quality of work speaks for itself, as I came in with some prior bleach and colour on my hair. Sophie also places great emphasis on not just the end look, but the condition and health of your hair. I am very happy to have found a local place that does colour and does it well, let alone at very reasonable pricing. I'll be back :D

    I loved my first visit here. Ellie did my hair, removing dark/red tones with a dark ash blonde balyage. She spent time making sure it was well executed and while I was there longer than expected (my hair was being stubborn and not taking) I didn't mind. The atmosphere was friendly, everyone seemed relaxed and chatty. I couldn't be more happy with the result. A perfect balyage blend. Highly recommend this gem of a salon.
