   I came here this afternoon to buy a new fleece jacket. As I usually do when I go shopping I carry a reusable bag, in line with the North Face their own mission statement “support the preservation of the outdoors”. Having found a fleece I liked I placed this in my bag and continued shopping. Whilst completely at the back of the shop I was subsequently confronted by two security guards who demanded to see the content of my bag given the fact they deemed I was shoplifting, which was not the case. I politely asked on what grounds, and after a brief exchange about my legal rights they “stepped down”. When I asked the shop attendant, of whom I was fairly confident she had called security on me, why she had decided to do so, she ignored me. (Young lady with the red-ish hair). The lady behind the cash register subsequently said it was “automatic”. An embarrassing overall experience, not for me, but probably more so for the brand, given the fact several customers noticed this rather hilarious event. I realise theft is a problem, but you should really not target shoppers like this, “The North Face”, as a loyal customer, your staff should do better.

   went there earlier to buy a triclimate jacket. spent sometime to decide which one to get and a certain employee was really helpful. i've decided to go on and buy what i needed as it also enticed me for an additional 20% off if you spend 150gbp or more which was advertised around their store. on the counter, when it's time to pay i've been told that the promotion was over (though their promotions advertisements were still around). hopefully next time they'd be aware of their store as it offered false advertisement.

   Strange profiling policy, honestly could you make it more obvious? Grow up, get trained. Don't isolate your customers, instead approach and say hi, you might actually get a sale! Focus on the positives: revenue generation, rather than attempting to make your customers feel awkward.

   Sometimes you an get very nice deals, only issue I have is there XLR pas is mostly never working. The last vista they were unable to give me discount e there system was down, even today I spent £240 in total and there system was down. What’s the pint of having my email stored with them for XLR if it isn’t ever working, please art this out. Thank you
