   i found the billy brand over a year ago as well as sensory smarts online store, but i had 2 problems- i needed (mens) UK size 8 in wide fitting and coud only find size 10 in all the designs i liked onwards. so last week my mum and dad both found and ordered me a pair of Billy navy/white high top skate shoes in wide UK size 8 off sensory smart as im unable to tie laces and some of my newer suport staff havent got a clue about my needs or care plan. one thing i will say to anyone ordering disability related items for someone with a disability fill in the VAT exemption form first,which is available here: https://sensorysmart.co.uk/pages/vat-exemption-returns-forms -it makes a big diference sometimes,if your buying a pair of adult billy shoes,the exemption form woud stop around £15 being added on top of the trainer/shoe price at checkout.i unfortuntly didnt know this until checkout, im under an apointeship so my mum and dad still bought them for me as it takes ages to get money passed down to me. the shoes are a perfect fit and look,just make sure to order the right size and width. i will be using sensory smart in the near future,i found them to be very quick at procesing the order and it only took 3 days to get to mine. there is also no where else in the UK as dedicated to importing american billy shoes as much as sensory smart do. ----- just so you understand my experience as im not a parent, i am 40 years old, live in full time care, havve a lot of complex needs inc classic autism,mild intelectual disability,lifelong epilepsy and spinal damage caused by over restraint in a learning disability hospital...

   I ordered some seamless socks in a state of panic for my daughter (5 yo) who is so sensitive about socks and has huge tantrums about putting them on in the morning. All I can say is she is happy to wear these seamless socks and even puts them on herself. THIS IS MAJOR and removes a massive obstacle from our morning routine. I very much recommend these socks!

   I am so glad to have found the Sensory Smart store! I have lost count of the number of orders placed for sock/ tights for my two children. Both have sensory issues and can't stand the scratchy/lumpy seams of regular socks. Getting ready for school used to be a real challenge with both refusing to put their socks on ... now it's so much easier!
