   I was searching all over for a decent hairdresser and came across Lisa at La Petite. Lisa listened to what I wanted to achieve with my hair and her suggestions were great. I am incredibly happy with the colour and cut. Lisa and her team are very knowledgeable and provide a friendly and relaxed environment. I now look forward to going to the hairdresser's. I definitely recommend this place.

   Been wanting to write this review from past week...I am not one to leave bad reviews and love supporting local businesses but this was horrible experience...probably the worst hair salon I've been to... went to get my hair restyled with layers and front fringe. I arrived earlier than my time and did say to the lady cutting my hair, I can come back later if she is busy becauseshe had another customer there at same time.. the lady insisted that it's ok and she will only be 10mins with the customer and till then I can get my hair washed and dryed... I was shocked that she wanted my hair dried before cutting... anyway the assistant (who doesn't smile) washed my hair and then went to brush my hair...I noticed lots of hair stuck in the brush from other customers...I have never been to a salon where they don't clean the brushes after customers...I was absolutely horrified as this is like going to a restaurant and using dirty cutlery...it wasn't just one brush...the straight brush and the drawer with curler brushes all had other peoples hair stuck in them..bulk of hair...!!! The lady cutting my hair took only 30seconds to ask what I wanted...in which I explained as best as I could, she then rushed to back staff room and went to her customer...didn't bother going through any pics with me to make sure we on same page...anyway she instructed the assistant to dry my hair BEFORE cutting... The lady cutting my hair did a small little trim and only one layer...I asked her to do more as I wanted volume...to which she said 'if I add too many layers you will a have choppy/uneven look' - I have had this lots of layers in my hair before and NO HAIR DRESSER has ever said that to me!!! She then curled my hair with hair straighteners, again no professionalhair dresser uses straighteners, they always blow dry curl...between this another customer walked in...the lady cutting my hair made me feel very uncomfortable as she was just continuously chatting away with this lady who walked in as it was her friend...she made no attempts to even talk to me.. she quickly rushed finished my hair...I asked her for a fringe...she then sprayed on LOTS of hair product on my front hair and quickly cut fringe...after I got back and washed my own hair, I can see the layer that she put in is very blunt cut...not cut in feather cut where it blends in... I have never been to such unprofessional hair salon before...I could ask for my money back but I think they really need it to at least clean out those brushes...given 2 stars before she was only pleasant at arrival...after that it was a huge fall downhill.
