This is such a quirky little hidden treasure to come and eat. The lady who welcomed us was so polite and sweet. Love all the little touches. I had an omelette and a pot of tea. The omelette was delicious and I tried my partners pancake with bacon and syrup and that was gorgeous. Reasonable prices and will definitely be coming back again

We came here for breakfast one morning. The staff were lovely and welcome as soon as we walked in. Ask and brought over a highchair without us having to ask. They’ve a dedicated vegan section on the menu which is great! Kids get a free pancake and then you just pay for topping. I went for the banana blue I think it was called which was nice, I also had a smoothie which was good too. My husband really enjoyed his pancake too. We planned to return but unfortunately they were shut that day! Would return and recommend.

Happy to keep going back, the staff are welcoming, the service efficient. This is a popular place and can get very busy, so it's advisable to book. I've been visiting regularly with my son and his cousins since they were toddlers, so that's getting on for ten years now. There is no need for me to repeat that the pancakes are superb. I would like to highlight the coffee, which is a delicious blend, the latte is something special.

The Indian omelette is worth visiting this restaurant for. The interior is a vibe with a blend of Indian and chic colours, pictures and plants. The service is always extremely helpful and you're always greeted with a smile! Would recommend the green coriander chutney with the Indian omelette too, possibly one of my fave things to get here. The sweet breakfasts are also yummy with the ability to change my order easily (lactose allergy but I wanted to try a range of flavours) and the pancakes look great. I've had a range of things off the menu and would certainly take visitors with me when returning.

Best pancakes about!! My girlfriend and I have been here an unhealthy amount of times, worth it! The staff are friendly, prices decent and atmosphere lovely. The lady, who I assume is the owner, is lovely and welcoming. We usually come here when we fancy pancakes but also had the masala dosa which is amazing! They also have a good selection of drinks. The toilets are spotless too, which I always appreciate in a busy business.

Perfect service by a wonderfully positive and attentive server. This place was a true gem. We were fortunate to get a table outside as a walk-in on Saturday morning but every table was full within 30 minutes of opening. We ordered breakfast ommeletes and pancakes with milkshakes and coffee and they were all amazing. We'll definitely be back!

Visited today, didn’t book, would recommend, however we were very quickly accommodated and welcomed . Busy vibe, but attentive and best pancakes you have ever tasted! I mentioned it was my daughter’s birthday and her pancake arrived with a candle so we sung happy birthday! Such a nice touch. We will be back! Thank you HP.

There have been very few occasions where a restaurant has made me happy the moment I step into it for the first time. Hanky Panky pancakes is one of them. It wasn't just the ambiance or the sweet, flavourful pancakes and milkshakes, but the staff constructed to the majority of it. Shout out to staff Alfie, Rekha and Elouise who always had a very genuine smile on their face and constantly checked on guests regarding their liking of the food. I'd ordered the strawberry ice cream milkshake and the Meringue-o-tang pancake. If you love lemon curd or sour-sweet citrus flavours, the Meringue-o-tang is a must try. Such a lovely little place hidden in Chester. And yup, if you order a door delivery, you get a sweet little postcard from the team thanking your custom. Cute!

Great service by very friendly staff. The menu has changed slightly since my last visit - great to see omelettes on the menu. The prices are very good considering the quality of the food. I do want to come here more often. This is the honeymooners with apple, honeycomb ice-cream and apple.
