I had a really nice experience getting my hair cut this morning in Ak-mee. I was welcomed with the offer of a coffee and they accommodated me without a booking. Charlton took such care with my hair and really paid attention to detail - I've never happier with a haircut. Can't wait to come back!

Feel a bit snide leaving a review for a place I’ve not had a cut from, but I’ve been waiting outside for 30 minutes for it to open and they’re closed despite opening hours stating otherwise. Was highly recommended by another barber in town so a bit sad to see they can’t get to work on time.
It's been my regular barbers for 2 years, always happy with my cut. The attention to detail is great and you never feel rushed, I always end up with what I ask for. Brilliant atmosphere, and always offered a drink on arrival, with a good chat too.
I've never had a bad haircut here and i love the lads
Not that impressed with the haircut that I got at all to be honest. Too much cut off one side of the fringe and shaved way too high up one side of the head, even though i didn't ask for that. I have only been once so the other barbers there might have done it differently, who knows, but it's always better when the barber checks as they are doing the haircut, to make sure it is what you want.
Started coming to akmee about 18 months ago and never looked back. Great trims, top lads working there and great tunes in the background. What can go wrong ?
