   IF YOU ARE BLACK DO NOT GO TO THIS BARBER I had been to this barber shop last year and the experience was really good, but this time was terrible. It was just me and this barber in the shop and he started cutting my hair then told me after starting to make mistakes that it was his first time cutting this type of “difficult” hair as he said (meaning black hair). He told me I had to cut more hair off than I originally wanted after saying it was my choice, which was for him to fix the mistakes which he was making with my hair. To make things worse he then started making ignorant and racist remarks, which made me feel uncomfortable and violated. I wouldn’t recommend this specific barber to anyone, as this was the worst experience I have had in any barbershop and he made me feel like I was an inconvenience to him, especially after saying I annoyed him! This was a shame as I had been before and had a very good experience but this specific barber ruined it!!!

   Been getting my haircut from Noah for a while now, and he has never failed to deliver, the trim is always on point and the service is great. The shop has good vibes and is cleanly presented. Overall a 10/10 Experience.

   After trying a few barbers around Stockport I decided to try Slik after reading other reviews, the shop is very clean with chilled music playing, Ky was very welcoming, asked loads of questions on how I like to have my hair cut and styled and gave a few tips on what products to use etc. Best haircut I’ve had in a while. Definitely recommend Slik and will be back soon!

   Ky was very welcoming as soon as I got to the shop, 100% recommend coming here, the shop has very good lighting and very good music, a chilled vibe, 110% effort when cutting hair best haircut I’ve had in ages

   I’ve tried a few different barbers over the past couple of years, but none of them consistently gave me exact haircut I asked for, and there’d often be long misted bits etc... Then I found Ky at a barbers in Bramhall, and he consistently gave me 1st class haircuts exactly the way I wanted it cutting, so I followed him and Rio to their own barbers, Slik in Cheadle Hulme. Rio has never cut my hair, but Ky said he’s the best barber he knows. And they both definitely put 110% effort into giving you the best haircut, so cuts take 45 minutes instead of 25. But as you can book appointments online, you don’t end up sitting around waiting an hour or more, so it’s actually quicker and I get a much better haircut!
