   Had a fantastic experience with Lena who was happy to do my haircut upstairs so I didn't have to tackle the stairs (just make sure you mention this when arriving). Asked for a more classic look and she listened and delivered! Will definitely be back. Edit Nov 2025: I now see Alix at BB who is amazing. Always gives me great advice on how to care for my hair, happy to follow reference pics I show him, and makes my hair look fab. I have "East Asian hair" which other barbers have told me can be tricky to cut, and my partner has curly hair - never a problem for Alix at all.

   I’ve visited Barber Below twice for a men’s haircut now, and had a great experience on both occasions. I came in with some ideas in mind and Ayshah was fab at turning that into the haircut I was looking for. A great place to go if you’re looking for something more than just the usual short back and sides. The new location is shared with RCNQ and has a super fun and colourful interior you can enjoy while you sit there. Absolutely recommend!

   Went in, was first time going somewhere since moving to Manc after being with my previous hairdresser for 7 years, and was just absolutely blown away by the experience Ayshah was incredibly friendly, gave me a super great consultation after telling her I was open to anything stylewise, and I walked out feeling a million dollars with both a stellar cut and also feeling real confident in myself. She taught me bits about my hair I never knew, and also I never knew someone could run a comb so gently through my hair before Superb attention to detail, and clearly in love with her craft, I can't wait to go back for a bleach and/or colour at some point. Well worth the price for the quality of service I received! Would recommend anyone go to her at Barber Below if I could if they were looking for both a very high standard of quality, and someone who makes them feel comfortable being who they are, regardless of who they may be and however they may present

   Ive seen Aisha a couple of times now and she is always so attentive and friendly. I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my hair cut or coloured now, and I couldn't recommend Aisha enough! Thank you so so much for a brilliant cut and colour, can't wait to come back!

   Booked onto the waiting list for the haircuts post-lockdown and was contacted very quickly by Sam who was amazing at booking me in quickly and at a very good time that suited me best. My haircut was done by Josh who was absolutely brilliant! Managed to give my hair amazing shape and skin fade, honestly I could not be happier with the results - I would recommend him to everyone! He’s super knowledgeable on the current styles and hair trends, and always gives me great advice on what can be done with my hair. Love the vibe at Barber Below, modern but laid back and with great stylists.

   I've had a wonderful experience with Josh, as my barber. He's got exactly what i wanted from a haircut every-time I've visited the shop(which can be difficult with my kinky curly hair). His dye jobs are great, where previously i would've needed to get two treatments of bleach to get my desired colour. Josh, has got it in one go. Saving me, time and money; I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
