Arie was great! Gave me exactly what I asked for. New to Manchester so wasn’t sure where to go, stumbled upon this place and so glad I did!
I booked an appointment for my boyfriend, but when he arrived, the business wasn’t even open. No one answered the phone when we tried calling, and the only response we got was a message asking, “Who is this?”—completely unprofessional. He had to leave work early and travel from outside the area to make it to the appointment, only to find the place closed. Someone later said that “sometimes they open later,” which is unacceptable. He ended up wasting so much time that he had to go to another barbershop instead. Don’t waste your time here—extremely unreliable and unprofessional.
I like Arie.. barbers who listen and do exactly what you ask are a rare breed.. no thrills, no taking 30 minutes to do a scissor blend that you can do the exact same with clippers. He has 20 years experience and takes pride in his work - the perfect city centre experience. If you’re a muppet like me watch your head on the way in.. Thanks Arie, much appreciated!
I got a wonderful hairstylist/barber named Aire, who gave me a skin fade haircut (Clear layered). He's funny and professional. I have no doubt, for women who prefer short hair, City Barbers is the best choice!
My new go-to barbers. Arie is a rare find - a barber who really understands exactly what you want - listens and is patient. Been a couple of times now and besides giving me probably the best cut I’ve ever had, there’s always great chat and a cool vibe in the place. Arie’s even offered to take bookings in advance to save me waiting round when it’s busy - legend !!!
Great Barbers in the centre of Manchester. Switched to City Barbers due to working in Piccadilly and not looked back. Both Arie & Jimmy are excellent, very welcoming & friendly and most importantly listen to their customers requirements and provide a great service. Went in most recently yesterday (04/01/2023) and was seen by Arie on this occasion. Brilliant cut and always a pleasure to have a good chat. Recommended to a colleague who would give a 10/10 for Afro-cuts. Very good pricing for Manchester centre
