   I had the pleasure of getting my haircut today at Deansgate Barbers — and I must say, they exceeded all expectations. The level of professionalism is outstanding! The barber was clearly very experienced and took the time to consult with me about which haircut would best suit my face shape. The result was fantastic — I couldn’t be happier. Hygiene is clearly a top priority here, with fresh equipment and disposable towels used for each client, which really gives you peace of mind. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of service provided. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a top-notch barber in town! Many thanks for the excellent service, AJ

   Came here just before Xmas. I asked for a high skin fade and a beard trim. I got my skin fade but the guy I think his name was ken had to be shown how to do a high skin fade as he wasn’t doing it right. He then said he wasn’t cutting the top of my hair even though I asked him to as he said I was thinning which I was shocked by as I’ve always thought I had decent hair. He then told me he wouldnt shave my beard as it was patchy … again I’ve never had anyone say I have a patchy beard I usually get complimented on it. The barber also seemed to be arguing with his wife who came into the shop and would t stop coughing. When I went to pay for the services I didn’t get I was still charged £38 which I was shocked at the price. I paid it and left but had to go to my normal Barbour the day after to get my hair corrected and beard trimmed for only £15. I was left with long hair behind my ears and still a very low high skin fade which was corrected by my usual Barbour. I’d say I would happily not return and wouldnt recommend anyone to go. Usually I leave a barbours feeling great and refreshed but this time I left paranoid and disappointed

   Spent years flipping between barbers offering £10 cuts and was never happy to the point that I used to delay getting haircuts. I decided to up my budget to see what else was about and stumbled upon Bar Bar. I've now been back 4 times, which doesn't sound like a lot, but it's the first time I've used the same barber that many times. Kenneth has been my regular barber and he's brilliant: professional, polite, and good to talk to. I struggle to explain the type of cut i want but he knows his stuff and I now feel relaxed when i go in. For the first time in my life i actually look forward to going to get my haircut!

   Avoid if you have curly hair. Back and sides are ok and guys in the shop are nice enough but that’s twice ive been and had my curls cropped, despite specifically asking them to keep it longer. Will take a few weeks to correct. 2/10 trim

   First time visiting these guys in MCR today. The team were friendly and welcoming from the second I stepped in. Andreus (hope I spelt that right mate) did an awesome job! Professional cut, great banter and a great experience. I’ll be coming back every month for the Gold package. Highly recommend.
