The staff with blond short hair is really rude, she was speaking unclearly with the mask on and I just asked her to repeat what she said, and she got super impatient. Also, she roughly moved my hands around while doing my nails. She didn't even ask if I was satisfied during the nail - trimming and painting process. The manicurist kept chatting all the time and sometimes left me hanging. All in all, it was a really bad experience.

I have been a loyal customer at your salon for over two and a half years, visiting nearly every month. Despite my loyalty and consistent politeness, I have repeatedly experienced unprofessional treatment, inconsistent pricing, and disrespectful behaviour from multiple staff members. Over time, acrylic French-tip prices have fluctuated between £36–£45 without explanation. Chrome, hard gel, and design prices also change randomly and often do not match the price menu. Even the student discount is inconsistent with the amount shown on the calculator. The additional £2 card fee is especially frustrating when I bring exact cash but am still charged unpredictable prices. Whenever I ask for clarification, I’m told it’s because my nails “take extra time,” even though many customers who arrive before me finish leave after me. The staff’s attitude has been extremely rude. Questions are ignored, met with eye rolls, or followed by staff speaking in another language while laughing. I’ve been given dirty looks for simply asking for a correct nail shape or design. On several occasions, a technician has refused to complete my set midway, leaving me waiting for someone else despite the fact that the designs I request are both reasonable and ones I’ve previously received at your salon. I always remain polite, open to compromise, and willing to ask what alternatives are available, yet I am continuously met with hostility or silence. My most recent visit—a month ago, for my birthday—was the worst experience I’ve ever had in any salon. I requested a gold chrome French tip and politely asked for a test swatch, something your staff has done for me many times before. The technician refused and then told me that all the staff “don’t like me” and “don’t want to do my nails.” He then loudly asked the salon who wanted to take over, humiliating me in front of everyone, before abandoning me mid-appointment. No manager ever came to speak with me despite my request. Another technician eventually sat with me but also refused to do the design I asked for. She did a test nail but claimed she didn’t want to do a French tip and offered no solutions. I was forced to settle for a white French tip with chrome instead of the gold set I wanted for my birthday. After 2.5 years of loyalty, payment, and patience, the treatment I’ve received—especially during my birthday appointment—has been unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I will be taking my business to a more professional and respectful establishment. I will also be telling all my many friends that I’ve sent to ivy nails to also not return!

I went to get french tips here for the first time on the 5th of August and i must say i was disappointed, not only was the service bad as i sat there for 30+ minutes before someone actually looked my way and came to check what i wanted but the man doing my nails was rushing and talking to someone else the whole time and didn’t even ask what shape i wanted so the whole thing felt very rushed and the workers were hardly friendly. The nails started lifting about 5 days after and now almost 2 weeks after i can fully lift them, i would not come back there or recommend it to anyone as it was a waste of time and money. You can get better service and nails for £38 somewhere else.

Whatever nail design you have in your mind, this salon can make it even better they are very good on acrylics. Sometimes they speak in their language and it is a bit weird for me, also some of them have bad attitude and make me feel I'm doing something wrong just because I'm there. For the rest is fine, good area and looks clean. By the way they love cash, so bring with you and ask for the price before doing nails because they change price as they want!!
