   Yesterday my sister and I went to GDK and the service was amazing. The man on the till who served us was so kind, smiley, and welcoming. The food portions were great and the meal itself was really comforting. We went back again today and he even came off the till to personally hand us our takeaway, which was such a nice touch. The food was once again very good and the service was excellent. Definitely a great experience!

   I had a great experience today at German Doner thanks to Laiba. She helped me with my order and was patient, friendly and very attentive. Nice seating area, and it's quite as there are many more eateries along the high street. It has a lively, no-frills atmosphere that's great for a quick bite.    Food was delicious as usual; however, reason for 3 stars is because they are now filling the kebabs and wraps with more salad than meat, so it is not worth the prices being charged. Also, staff are a bit clueless sometimes. Sad to see the change. Used to love GDK. Now standards have dropped. Unhygienic staff and toilet. Very disappointing.

   I don’t care what is said about being busy it’s simply quiet unless of course you have food via Uber or just eat. The delay is astounding considering the venue is very quiet. This isn’t the place for food if you are in a hurry or not as it seems today. Really disappointing service and 20 minutes on from an order we are still waiting

   to cheat . I ordered the Donald Panini sandwich, and it was meatless. There were only 3 slices of meat inside. Pictures inside the restaurant. Staff notice. I ordered another sandwich which was very different from the previous sandwich it was just as good. Why are you treated like this? I have uploaded the videos.

   Generally good food if a little expensive for what you actually get plus very expensive for drinks consider they come in either a can or bottle. Staff on this occasion too busy having a laugh behind the counter rather than paying attention to customers waiting to be served. Clearly I wasn’t the only customer displeased with the service here today as another guy just banged on the counter repeatedly to get attention.

   Well well well, latest addition to Uxbridge high st and an experience. This place has got to get a grip, they are disorganised and staff literally have no idea. I placed an order and was told no beef and thank god for the manager who walked past and went livid with the assistant correcting the member of staff. Food arrived on the table and host accidentally dropped it on the table with the donor across the table, the GDK staff member picks up some of the items from the table and turned the box back up and thought it was acceptable for us to continue to accept that item. I stopped the person and asked for them to replace the order for that one item. Food on the whole is satisfying, staff are letting it down.
