   Very disappointing and misleading experience. Items are sold as new despite being used. Visible dents and scratches are concealed by placing the EU Energy Efficiency Label directly over damaged areas as shown in the attached photos. Additionally, plastic wrapping is added inside the fridges to make them appear unused. Once the wrapping is removed, it is clear that this packaging was not applied by the manufacturer. This is deceptive and not an honest way to trade. I would strongly advise others to avoid this shop to prevent unnecessary stress and expense. Shame on you

   We bought a brand new American fridge freezer which completely stopped working within two weeks. What was meant to be a new appliance clearly appeared to be faulty from the point of purchase. The retailer, Quality Appliances, refused to help and insisted I deal directly with the manufacturer. After months of back and forth, three engineer visits, and constant chasing, the manufacturer eventually confirmed that the required part was out of stock and explicitly confirmed that a refund should be issued by the retailer, as it was now their responsibility. They provided me with an official refund authorisation code for this purpose. Despite this, Quality Appliances still refused to issue a refund, even after taking the code from me. As a result, I was left without a working fridge freezer for four months. Only after repeatedly escalating the issue and threatening legal action did they finally offer an exchange and even then, no refund was offered. Throughout the process, their staff were rude and dismissive, making me feel as though I was begging rather than asking them to take responsibility for a faulty product they sold. This experience was stressful, time-consuming, and completely unacceptable. Avoid this retailer at all costs. They do not stand by their products or their responsibilities.

   Do not buy from this shop, on eBay (under Quality Appliances) or otherwise. We bought a fridge - shipped to Oxford - which didn't work from the moment we unpacked it. We found out that there was only a 'sellers warranty', which means the Samsung 5 year warranty was invalid. Fair enough, as this was written (though certainly not clearly) on the listing. Seller's Warranty in this case means you packing up the 130 kg fridge into a van, I guess, and driving it to Birmingham, dropping it off and coming back to pick it up. So four, two hour trips to Birmingham is their suggestion. We obviously decided to ship it back. They made a fuss and we had to open a Paypal dispute. Only when they were forced to, they agreed to take the broken fridge back and only if we paid for shipping. So, £90 out of pocket and 3 weeks wait before we got it resolved. Lesson learned: buy white goods new from a reputable seller.
