Went to buy a heating controller for an old gravity pump system. The person doing customer services had a very stiff upper lip and was desperate to shelve the item back whilst I was still looking at it. He took the item of my hand when I complained about it a bit discolored compared to other newer model units and was unable to provide any technical assistance in order to choose the right controller.
